I will be driving down to Wrigley for n1 show from Winnipeg. Looking for some hotel recommendations for hotels somewhat close to Wrigley.

Most folks who come in for shows stay downtown close to a Red Line 'L' train stop and take the train up to Wrigley. The Wrigley stop is "Addison". As far as hotels downtown, there are many. Most will have parking for a fee and many will be good walking distance to a Red Line station. Obviously you can also taxi and Uber your way around as well. Although, trying to taxi or Uber immediately after the show could be challenging, but the bars in the area are open late.

I'd say between the Clark/Division stop and the Harrison stop is the sweet spot, including the stops in the "Loop".
If you don't care about seeing downtown Chicago, a hotel north/west of Wrigley in the burbs will work as well.
For parking around Wrigley, you will need to use SpotHero or ParkWhiz or some similar app. There are also homes in the area that wave people into their private driveways for a fee.
