Damn. That is beyond fucked up. Thanks for enlightening me and also making me ill.PJ_Soul said:I'm just putting this link here, which I came across. Look this is the ultimate hammer in any Pearl Jam vs Nirvana argument.
"Meanwhile a month later Pearl Jam released Vs., their first collaboration with long-time producer Brendan O'Brien who has never advocated for relations beyond those with consenting adults."0 -

Your boos mean nothing to me, for I have seen what makes you cheer0 -
Well, if this is all true (I hope it is not), then I guess I have to say, the hell with that guy. Criminies sake...

Prett sure it's true (among other things that i'm reading that have apparently been excused as "edgelord behaviour"). And that makes EV's little honour's of him during the Portland show pretty awkward.
With all its sham, drudgery, and broken dreams, it is still a beautiful world. Be careful. Strive to be happy. ~ Desiderata0 -
I mean look there's the Pete Townshend stuff too. If you don't want to believe a person is a certain way you'll grasp at anything you can to deny it or ignore it.PJ_Soul said:Prett sure it's true (among other things that i'm reading that have apparently been excused as "edgelord behaviour"). maybe Ed hadn't heard of it. I mean, I just heard of it two days ago.Your boos mean nothing to me, for I have seen what makes you cheer0

That is my assumption.

There’s no way there’d be so many heartfelt tributes from respected musicians if people had known about this.pjl44 said:

They might accept and believe his appology for past edgelord behaviour and edgelord culture?PJ_Soul said:Prett sure it's true (among other things that i'm reading that have apparently been excused as "edgelord behaviour"). Yeah although I imagine at least some must. It's been out there for at least a couple/few years. Kinda weird what gets amplified and what doesn't. It's pretty gross.goldrush said:

Yeah, I'm confused as to how people can just wipe the Pete pedo stuff out of their minds. How do you rationalize that? In some cases I can keep the music and the people separate, and i can still enjoy the Who to some degree, but I ain't gonna be wearing a Who shirt or supporting them in any way.pjl44 said:
