Well I’ve gotten to 12 Pearl Jam shows compared to 11 Broad Street Runs and it’ll be 17-11 be the end of this year. Maybe next year.

I think I want to keep doing at least until my son can do with me.  Believe you need to be 12.  Will be 3 years.
He will be way faster than me by that point but not sure about distance.  He's already faster than most adults for 5ks.

I could be wrong, but I believe I read there was an 8 year old this year. My daughter’s school had kids running that I don’t think are 12, but could be wrong.

My 73 year old mom has done it 2 of the last 4 years (not this year, last), so you can’t quit yet.

Was at broad and Moore for a while today. Decent crowd out there. Last year was a sloppy mess by that time

I love running, and my kid is badass at it, but I think it might be bit much on an 8 yr old
Oh well.  Wouldn't do that with my kid but I don't care to tell others what to do with their kids.  They can bring them in the pit to PJ shows.

Awesome on your mom running it at 72.  Incredible.
    Was she always a runner?
    Does she still do running,regularly?
    Indoor or outdoor?

A 65 yr old beat me at the line in a 5k last year, it floored me.  Regular dude.  Ended up speaking with him for a while, after.

Ortho told me to stop running 2.5 years ago and I do it anyway.  Said I wouldn't do ultra or marathon distance again and missed the long runs so did Philly marathon last year after sticking to Halfs as my long runs for a few years.
At some point I'll need new knees.  I'll go as long as I can but when the runs start to get longer I start gimping around during training.
I love it, though.  The long runs are the best.  20+ miles is so stimulating to my fucked up brain.
Wish I'd have done this when younger.

I think I'll still do it after knees get replaced, I can be a fucking cyborg.

Doesn't Mrs Cliffy run these things, too?

Juuust steamrolling teams right now. Real test, of course, is at Miami next weekend. No matter how good or bad either team is, that fucking stadium seems to always be this team's kryptonite.

Phills going for the sweep and keep the best record in baseball. Only thing that sucks is looks like Bohm's 18 game hitting streak might end.

Agreed on the age. Mine is 6 and doing this quarter mile thing and that seems like a decent amount of running for her. My mom was never a big runner, just a challenge and thing to keep her active. Wife did do it again this year. She loves it.

    Great day as always

    congrats to you and JP

When i saw the lineup against the Blue Jays last night and who they were facing I thought thee might be a chance that this would be an "L". I was way wrong. They looked fan-fucking-tastic last night!

That pitcher was in serious trouble once he walked Garrett Stubbs on 4 pitches.

Before last nights game I think he had the lowest ERA in baseball. Not looking to good today for the phightin's.
