Dear the Pearl Jam Band (song idea)

First off, YOU GUYS ARE FUCKIN AWESOME! I have every single one of your songs on iTunes! And when i mean every single... I mean every performance, every show, every song, and every recording there IS that you guys have made!

Anyway, now that that is outta my system... I have found a really good sounding riff that i really like which i have made, and i think you guys might like it too! This sounds best on an accoustic guitar, and it goes something like this:

ONLY play the strings: D and A in standard tuning.
Melody:

0----0----0----2----2----2----2
2----2----2----2----2----2----2----2----0----0----0----0

Thats the first part... basically you take the chords E A G D C G D and A (in that order) and you alternate ONLY the A string and the D string. I think it sounds pretty good, but incase you dont want to play it, or maybe u just wanna hear the rythm, then click on the link and download the .wma file. I played it on my accoustic and i think it sounds really good! haha!

    that's very generous of you to give up a riff to the band! It's almost as if you were an add-on (Boom style).

    I wonder how they would give you credit if your riff ended up on the next album. Would you get royalties and such?

    Boofed-not to hate but if that is on the D & A strings then your tab is upside down. The lowest tab line is for the low E string and the highest one is for the high E string (E-A-D-G-B-E). We wouldn't want Stone to get the riff backwards now would we? I might have misunderstood you but I think your tab actually reads as this:

    Hahahaha... I can see at one of the shows next month Ed telling the story of how they leaked one of the songs on the net... and somebody told them the tabs were wrong ;)
