i seen a lot of people do this on facebook. Although I'm not sure how to do it.

Phills have been looking great. Now if Atlanta could start losing...

Jeez, the White Sox stink. But I'll take a sweep any way we can get it. Nice to see a full series of great pitching. On to Cincinnati.

I think it’s way too early to rank Dark Matter.  I really like it and think songs 3-8 are one hell of a run.  That being said want to see how it plays live and revisit after the tour before I can place it in a PJ tier. Generally I really dig the music aspect but kind of think Ed has gotten a bit long winded in his lyrics.  I’d like a bit more minimization in his lyrics if that makes any kind of sense

So this Phila. version of Dark Matter is only available in some store in Kutztown? Or is it available more widely at indie record stores?

I think it's more widely available, that's just the store I think that's gone through the RSD website?

My 10C version should be arriving today.

Nice sweep. Hopefully first of many. Redeemed my Phillies 5k ticket offer for last nights game and got rewarded with that gem from Ranger. Is this the beginning of the Ranger Cy Young campaign?

Aging nicely! Still very early but the boys are cruisin'

I've seen this thing floating around...what does the S stand for?

Regarding Stern--I liked it...but man I was hoping he'd go deeper and ask about the drumming history and stuff. Or when Stone brought up the fact that he thought the band was going to break up at one point, he doesn't even give him a follow up question. What?!

He did press a little about them avoiding having hits and stuff but....meh.

Funny how Ed said no to Glorified G though.

Yeah this was pushing back to early days, repetitive stuff we've heard ad nauseum. I thought it'd be closer to he Eddie interview he did recently. Was expecting more, but then again they aren't the most engaged - nor would I be at 6 in the morning.

S tier is video game nerd talk for the greatest, so a step up from an A grade.

Also thought the Stern interview was weak. Shallow knowledge. Especially after the amazing Eddie interview. Nice work with Matt’s KISS cover band. That was great.

had a feeling the Phills were due for a loss, especially with yesterday's lineup.

Agreed on Binaural alternate version. Plus you give me the Puzzles and Games version of Light Years and it's even better. I like Light Years....but man on man, that song would've been huge before they stripped it down. It's a really good album but it's one I need to be in a mood for.

Also, I'd probably remove God's Dice as well.

That's the thing I love about that album though, I'd say it sounds less like what you would expect from them than even No Code. God's Dice, Evacuation, Sleight of Hand, Thin Air, Insignificance (I'm gonna end up listing the whole album), Rival (I will never not believe that I was the reason this was played at the first of the '09 Spectrum shows). For all the shit apparently Ed is getting for sandwiching lyrics into songs on Dark Matter I'd say Binaural is the biggest culprit of that, and I love it.

I was following the thread as a 10C newbie and definitely thought that the band played that song as a request. They were even talking about the "Stone quitting" rumors when they played Mankind.

JP try and get them to play some other Binaural stuff (how about Insignificance?). I have the hardest time "collecting" songs from that album. And also haven't gotten Sad or Fatal.

Regarding DM.....one that that tells me the album is great is I have a different song stuck in my head at different times throughout the day. It's not just one song or a few. Just about the whole fucking album.

I think Gods Dice fits into their mantra of always having a "punk song" on the album. Spin, Lukin, DTE, Big Wave, Supersonic, MYM... I guess Running. It wouldn't be the same without it. But Evacuation is indeed not good.
