There is a 6 year old kid in our neighborhood who told me Pearl Jam is his favorite band (probably because of parents, ha). Last time he was over playing with one of our kids I gave him a 2024 ten club sticker. Then a couple of days ago he put these in our mailbox:

    This is cute!

What's happening tomorrow? Will PJ shelve Dark Matter and announce a 40-disc collection of EDM-classical fusions of Radiohead b-sides?
I don't believe nothin', even if it's true.

Super excited for everything going on around the new album and tour. I'm doing record store listening party tomorrow and theater screening on Tuesday. I'm getting an album release on my birthday, going to 7 shows on the spring leg. Still looking for Philly tickets but I'll be there either way, I'll be seeing PJ friends I haven't seen since the 2016 shows. Can't freaking wait!!

I'm doing the listening party and theatre screening, plus the immersive experience and 4 (maybe 5?) shows this spring/summer! :triumph:

Bought my kids ear defenders in the week, not sure they’ll stay for long, but figured they’d be a good investment for concerts down the line anyhow.

I caught myself smiling during a few songs because of how good it is.

I kept thinking oh this is gonna be great live and that if I was liking it this much on first listen, it's only going to get better as I listen again

Enjoyed the record. Was at looney tunes on Long Island.  They didn’t really play it loud so I’m looking forward to hearing it on Tuesday in theater.

Overall the first two songs really stood out. Enjoyed the record as a whole.

As I said in the other thread, I had a hard time finding a weak link in the album. It was great start to finish.

Yeah I thought it was incredible, and my store’s speaker setup wasn’t exactly top shelf so I feel like I still have a ton to discover
