    Wow exactly the same ending as last night. I thought for sure with reports of extra buses and stuff that Ed had some surprises in store.
    Oh well...still sounds like a great show.

    Thank you soooo much for doing the relay Kpearljammer and please thank 1vedhead for me too...I've been sick and this totally made my night...thank you soo much. :)

    great tour, I'm so happy Ed finally did it, he's such a great songwriter, I understand his sensibilities, and why the ppl yelling out ridiculous song requests like Deep. It has some humor to it, but I think he wanted the intimate experience. I got it regardless in Santa Cruz, Berkeley II, and Santa Barbara. I feel very priviliged, lucky, and yes spoiled. How lucky are we all.

    not sure of all the fan stuff for these shows, but I got ahold of one, and the quality is far beyond what I expected. Got to find B II though, with Ben and Mike.

    no joke. just updated the setlist. Cell phone was cutting out during that song (1st song of 1st encore) and i couldn't make it out.

    I know the song so i would have known it if i heard it a little clearer!

    WOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    I always thought that it would be a nice song to play. of all the Bad Radio songs, of course there's Better Man and then Believe you me that i thought would be quite playable at a show these days.

    Believe You Me was maybe like the first chorus of it but when he played it i was so stunned i didn't even clap before he went into no more. it was unreal to hear even a small bit of that song

    I was at work this morning when Jason called me from the show! :eek:
    I heard him and someone else and then the crowd laughing and a bit of happy birthday, lol
    I was confused and had no idea what happened there, but Jason kinda explained to me later.
    Hope he won't mind me quoting him from my FB wall, but this is funny and its actually a fanview, so:

    "Ed says that's it's his mom's bday on the weekend and asks us to sing happy bday to her on the ukelele. This is when I called you because I promised to throw my phone on stage. Turns out his mom was in the crowd so the put a spot light on her and everyone start clapping and wishing a happy bday to her. So Ed says how sweet we all were and puts down ukelele and says that there was no need to sing to her.

    This was when I was on the phone with you telling you that Ed is about to sing something to you. Meanwhile, there was guy that says something I think was "who's that on the phone?" And one of my friends yells out, "That's Jason" while Ed is saying Happy Bday. After the encore, he says something like "theres a guy here named Jason, It's his bday. Happy Bday!" I thought that was pretty funny... ya, i'm drunk.. what show.. i could explain more in detail later"
