Dark Matter in Theaters


To celebrate the release of the new album, Pearl Jam will present an exclusive cinematic engagement, Pearl Jam – Dark Matter – Global Theatrical Experience – One Night Only, on April 16, 2024*.

Attendees will be among the very first to hear the band’s new record in select cinemas around the world. This communal experience will play Dark Matter in its entirety twice: first in a dark cinema, and then again with mesmerizing visuals.

Distributed by Abramorama, Dark Matter will come to life in over 225 locations nationwide, including AMC, Regal, Cinemark, Landmark, Marcus, Studio Movie Grill, Cinepolis, Harkins, Alamo Drafthouse, Chinese Cineplex, IFC, and more. Additionally, AMC and other cinemas will feature Dolby Atmos showings. Worldwide, it graces theaters in over 30 countries, appearing in more than 300 locations across Mexico, the UK, Spain, Netherlands, Australia, Brazil, Argentina, New Zealand, and Poland, to name a few.     I'm all booked for Odeon in Manchester, but on the confirmation the time said 19:00 - 21:45.

    So maybe there's a break after the first run through?

    It's not unsurprising that the band hasn't stepped foot in the state of Alabama in over twenty years. One could only hope they'd throw fans here a bone with at least one screening for something like this :angry:

    I love this approach. When the vinyl is delivered to my house will I rock out all and spend the day messaging my buddies that are doing the same? Absolutely. But a super engaging, novel, immersive, fun listening experience while bringing people together? Love the intentionality thoughtfulness behind it. Celebrate the release, celebrate the music, celebrate the band, celebrate together. That's just so right on. I just really appreciate this.
