It was.  But boy Xander had it.  Have to make that putt on 17.

It is crazy how Xander and Cantlay haven't won a major by now.  They'd be Top 10 all time to never win a major, and are best buds.

Scheffler is incredible.  And this was him playing hurt for 3 rounds.  Insane.

He played so smart yesterday.  It was really impressive.  He was never in danger and played the long game.  Waited for his competitors to feel the pressure and make mistakes, which they did.

Just fantastic golf all around this weekend. That was a lot of fun to watch.

Scheffler continues his Tiger esque run.

Yesterday was the most golf I've watched so far this year and it felt like a really big deal.  A lot of fun and Scheffler is incredible.

Talk about easy money. They had Scottie at +175 when he was leading Xander by a stroke around hole 10 or so. lol, who wouldn't bet that? Xander is a total loser, like Cantley. I was worried about Clark and Harman though. Tough luck for Clark on that last putt. Good luck for me though.

Nice. He's always a good bet when he's contending....especially when he's making putts. Moments after I bet on him, he missed a pretty easy birdie putt on a par 3. I was like "Oh here we go." But he held on.

I didn't think he could continue to hit the ball so straight when he was hurt. For all of Sat and the first 9 Sunday he looked defensive out there.  I thought Harman could get it done.  He was locked in.

Got a lesson today from someone new as I just moved to the area last year.  Turns out he was the coach for Brendan Todd that helped him get from 2000 in the world to two PGA victories in a row.  I read an article tonight and the first drill he did for Todd was the one we went through today.  Unfortunately, I think I will be more difficult to get down to a 10 handicap than getting Todd to a PGA victory.

This is the drill.  Played yesterday.  My contract wasn’t great yet, but the ball went a lot straighter trying to hit using the 4:30 path.  Shot a 44 over 9 holes which was a huge improvement over the last rounds of 102 and 95 before the lesson.

Have a field outside my apartment patio that sits in a bowl (it usually stays dry but when it rains a lot it can get a few feet of water).   I know I shouldn't, but I started hit 8 irons off my patio into the field and shag my own golf balls.   It's going to be a nice break if working from home.

Bryson DeChambeau tests 'roll-back' golf ball. Here's how that went

He comments fans want to see the ball go farther.  What impresses people about a 330 yard drive is ability, not equipment.  It is ridiculous pros want better numbers through equipment changes rather than their own skill.

Headed to Augusta on Saturday for the women's amateur. Been fortunate enough to go to Augusta National a few times for the Masters (plus I worked there for the 2013 tournament) but this will be my first women's amateur.

Keep an eye on Joaquin Niemann as an underdog pick.

Forecast for Thursdays round does not look good.  Rain and T-Storms most of the day.

Rahm wearing the awful logo of whatever the hell his new LIV team is called at Augusta is a tough visual.
