This will be my first time in Seattle life long goal to see the band there ever since I was 11 years old in 93 and first heard them and Seattle music I was hooked. Any suggestions on what to do in my free time. Thanks
If you like craft beer, Ballard is easy to reach by transit, and is a great area for walking around and trying out a multitude of micro breweries. I've walked around the area a few times and will be going there, probably the Sunday before the shows.

  • MoPop is always worth at least half a day for a first-timer, even without the Pearl Jam exhibit!  The Chihuly Garden and Glass museum is also quite special, and a pilgrimage to Easy Street Records. Favourite place for a late-night bite and cocktail is Zig Zag Cafe.

Taking a ferry from downtown Seattle to Bainbridge Island as a walk-on for a day trip if you have the time might be something to consider. It's nice over there and plenty of places to have lunch.

Thanks to some fantastic fellow 10C members, my dream of seeing the band in Seattle will finally come true. I'll be there both nights.

I've seen PJ just about everywhere except Seattle. I can't fucking wait.

I've only been to Seattle once. I was lucky enough to go to the Temple of The Dog shows in November 2016. Met Jeff at Easy Street Records. I lost my mom that June, and I talked to him for a bit about how much those shows, and the Temple record, and PJ in general meant to me, how it was helping me get through, and how grateful I was. He was super cool and appreciative.

I might retire from concerts after these shows. I'll have nothing left on my list lol.
May your days be long, til kingdom come.

Wish that Pearl Jam exhibition was still there @ MoPop. Sad we missed it.

We were thinking about having dinner at the Space Needle at night but I heard it was a million zillion dollars. Might just have peanuts & crackerjacks instead.

Lunch and a cocktail or two at the Edgewater Hotel is a real treat. Right on Elliot Bay, back in the day a number of bands stayed there.
Legendary early stories of Led Zep fishing from the hotel rooms. Pretty sure the Beatles stayed there also in 1964ish. Oh and they have/had a Pearl Jam suite which pre-Covid was  going for 2k if I'm not mistaken.. Very cool ambiance. We visited in 2004, then the 40th anniversary of the Beatles visit and the staff were wearing Sergeant Peppers' uniforms to mark the occasion.

No problem - not walking distance from the venue though.

Was it just a random draw contest, or did you have to participate in any feats of strength? 💪
