Ok thanks for the info, but I want this one for real. The art work is so nice that it's worth the money. Might try finding it if it's too long to wait. but I guess I can handle it.

Do you know the track list?
    1 - Sex Changes
    2 - Backstabber
    3 - Modern Moonlight
    4 - My Alcoholic Friends
    5 - Delilah
    6 - Dirty Business
    7 - First Orgasm
    8 - Mrs. O
    9 - Shores of California
    10 - Necessary Evil
11 - Mandy goes to Med School
12 - Me and the Minibar
    13 - Sing

The CD is fantastic. Loving it. I will definately be picking it up when it's released.
  • I love the Dresden Dolls. I saw them headline in Madison, WI in October. They put on a great live show. I got the new CD online 2 nights ago and have not stopped listening it to. I still like the 1st Cd a little better. Truce, Backstabber, and Half Jeck are a few of my Fav. Dresden Dolls tunes, check them out.

Thank U very much. The song about Pierre who doesn't care doesn't seem to be on it . ____________________

They have a very unique sound, you'll either love or hate them.
The drummer is off the wall great!
Check out the song Half Jack and War Pigs as mentioned in previous posts.

They do have the tendency to do so. I hope they come over here again soon.

I saw them the night after at Webster Hall in NYC.
They played a cover of Cosmic Dancer by T.Rex that sounded great.

Ok good to hear there is a new album.
    Does anyone have it?
And is there a song on it called pierre something?
Saw that live and it was really funny.
To bad it's too late to run off to the record store now, I'll get it A.S.A.P.

I'm pretty sure that Pierre tune isn't on an album, but I know it's on their Paradise DVD.

Damn not quit the answer I was hoping for. I thought maybe it would be on an E.P., hope so anyway. Thanks for replying, I didn't think an answer would come on this one as it is a while back since I posted this. Thanks for the answer.
    Do you have that DVD?
    Is it any good?

Funny you should ask...I'm probably going to pick it up on Tuesday when I run out to get the new Tool record (got my pre-order PJ Friday). The live performances they chose seem reasonable and the behind-the-scenes stuff sounds pretty interesting.

I've been trying to be a little more selective on DVDs recently since I find I don't watch them more than a couple times. This one seems like it might be worth a shot, so here's hopin'.

*Edit: Apparently Pierre is a Carole King tune, so maybe you could check out the original. By the way, the Paradise DVD is only $6 on Amazon.

Didn't know they were still around and touring. I saw them open up for NIN in the mid 00's. Wouldn't mind seeing them again. Don't think they are putting out new music though.

Amanda was doing mostly solo stuff for a long time with a sprinkling of Dolls shows here and there. It seems like they might really be kicking the Dolls back into gear again.

Also pretty wild to see a conversation you apparently had 18 years ago just pop on back up.
