Selling 10C tickets for more than face value has always been against 10C rules, even before the days of the Fan to Fan portal. F2F makes it much easier to enforce the face value rule but I am assuming that the rule still applies for Wrigley and MSG (even if it is difficult to enforce).JeBurkhardt said:
I think there was a note about that on the ticket request submission page. Either way, a lot of people will decide to price gouge people for the tickets and hope it goes under the radar.mpedone said:PJ-Cubs said:
Unless 10C changed their rules, fan club tickets can only be sold at face value and I hope they enforce that rule to the extent that they can. There is no way that they can watch every sale but I have heard about people losing their membership and tickets for selling above face value.JeBurkhardt said:F2F should be interesting for Chicago, since you can pretty much ask whatever price you want on secondary sites. I am hoping there are people on here who have extra or decide that they aren't happy with their reserved tickets for Chicago and sell them at face value to those of us on here who were shut out in the lottery. I put up a ISO on GTF for Night 2 for that scenario. I guess this is a commercial for that thread!
Except in states where there are laws preventing the restriction of resale. Illinois is one of those states.

If someone sold me their Wrigley tickets (I got shut out), I can guarantee that I would not be reselling them and would be at the show.JimmyV said:Illinois and New York are tough. Hi - does anyone know if we do get a Ticketmaster code if we can buy a show we didn’t sign up for? I was hoping to get Philly N1 through 10c, but doesn’t look like that’s panning out. I signed up for the Ticketmaster Verifiy for Fenway tix so my friends and I can all sit together at the show. Would like the option to buy Philly tix as well.PhartN said:

I think it might just allow you to try for tickets for the show you requested.PearlJamPerk said:

Not entirely sure. But it seemed like in previous years, if you got a code, it worked for most shows.PearlJamPerk said:

Ok, great. I didn’t have the foresight to think I wouldn’t get tix through the 10c. Thanks!aisleseats said:

Did people actually get a rejection email? I've gotten neither tix nor denial. Frustrating process this registration / lottery thing.0

I personally haven't tried, as I've been "waitlisted" every year. But I believe I remember people posting that the code they received worked for other shows as well.PearlJamPerk said:

You are right that membership provides an entitlement to access to tickets. wsimon74 may have been commenting on the sense that some posters may think they are entitled to actually get tickets.CM189191 said:

It's not entitlement, it's part of the agreement.I gather speed from you fucking with me.0 -
I hear ya. I love the GA location, I just cant handle the crowd that much anymore. haha. If it was fully seated and seniority, I would be great with first row being random, and the rest being seniority, or like 1 and 10th being random. But my guess now is that with PJ Premium....a lot of those seats would cease to be 10C seats.Zod said:
I like GA because it's the best location. If you don't end up in GA the seats seem kind of mid to not great for many people. If they ever went back to fully seated and seniority, I might not complain as it opens up the first 20ish rows on the floor for seats, which is where most of my tickets used to land before GA. I suppose platinum tickets could make it worse if they ever went back to the old system.Vedd Hedd said:
Yeah, while it was kind of fun not knowing where you were going to sit, those lines were sometimes atrocious. I think it was alpine valley (2003?) where we almost missed the start of the show?Zod said:
Boise was awesome. We had 6th row. We pulled an all nighter driving from Portland. Instead of getting in line, we checked into our hotel super early and slept. We picked up our tickets later in the afternoon. It was only then we found out there were so few 10c'ers at the show, that they didn't bother with seniority by sections (like they did the rest of that tour). Had we shown up and lined up when we got to Boise around 7am we might of been front row.O-W said:I low-key miss the way things were WAAAAAY back. I joined in 1998 and we could only pick two tickets total for a given tour. It became a matter of strategy figuring out how far I would be willing to travel and what locations would have the fewest 10C members. That resulted in me being 3rd row in Boise in 2000 - the closest I've been for a seated show, and I had an amazing time. It wasn't perfect but it was fun!
That is something I don't miss though. The seniority by sections thing of the 2000 tour. It made everyone line up at the same time, too early. The Seattle 2000 lineups were crazy
But went to Virginia Beach and was pleasantly surprised with front row.
I think I am in the minority, but I dont like GA. Maybe I am too old for it. But I dont like not having a specified spot. If I go to the bathroom, I feel like I cant find my place, etc. Too much crowding.
I think the reason many people like GA, is either they don't have enough seniority to get good seats, so it's a chance to be up close, or my case it's sheer existence put my seats a fair bit further back then they used to be, so may as well be in GA.
Will be curious where my Vancouver tickets land. Really hoping to be in the wings pretty close to stage. Dreading being back on the floor behind the pit.
I also prefer the wings as opposed to the floor in the back. Although, for arena seating (not ballparks), the opposite side of the stage, a few rows up isnt too bad. Prob the best sound in the building.
