Why isn't Gigposters updated with the newest stuff from Ames/Klausen? It seems like they were the first ones to have the Methane poster up.

Not even a date, or a venue on this Chicago ( 1 ) poster ?

If i was at that show , and this is what they offered, i'd likely be very disappointed !

I guess it could be- but very small. I absolutely cannot make it out by eye-( Macular Degeneration sucks ) or with the photos online. Maybe in person, i'll be able to see better.

i wish there was a separate Klausen sub offered...or Ames could have at least included the Klausens with their sub like for Canada...oh well...

here's to hoping there will be better posters from Ames on the horizon!

My girlfriend already hates my Buffalo 03 poster because she thinks its scary, so its a good thing I wont be hanging Chicago 1. I definitely dont think these compare to the creative, kickass ones from 00 and 03, but as long as some people think theyre cool, keep them coming.

    I agree.
But seriously, are there any other "themes" on the horizon ? , --thats what i'm wondering.
How many times will they do a politically based, jab at Bush ( no- i am not defending him ), or any other politically driven design ?
How about some vivid, bright, colorful designs ?
A Rock & Roll poster, maybe ?
Hell even something associated with the city the poster represents.
I dont know , we are now 4 posters into the tour , and nothing has really swayed me towards " Hot Damm!! " .
We still have a bunch to see but so far Klausen has stole all the thunder, with only 1 poster ! He'll most likely debut another tonight for Chitown2- lets see what happens.

I think they'll mix it up a bit. It's still early, and in the past they've always varied things as the tour went on, right?

I hope they do it by NY and Camden!

    It's all subjective right?

I really like both Toronto posters, but it could have something to do with the fact that I was there. Chicago does look a little like a Garbage Pail Kid.

Be interesting to see how it goes from here.

Oh, and good work with BigPop Bath, good to get the details on the "extras."

Also saw someone here asking about gigposters.com - don't think they're affiliated (did I spell that right?) with any particular artist, kinda like expressobeans, it's just a discussion board for concert poster art.

    if you think of it

the band is political as well as the new album

but i would love a boston poster with a theme of our heritage

maybe stickman dumping some tea ;)

or boom on a surfboard yelling "The British are coming... The British are coming... " :)

    ok... my ideas suck

lets all just move on ;)

    LOL ! excellent! :D
i dont know how they'd exploit " NJ " , maybe a power plant , or some swampy NJ devil swampmonster. or god knows what they'd do with NY , as they listed it .
well, we are 1/3rd thru the subset- plenty more art to see....
