Best Of The Earth Boot

I’ve been on a bootleg binge lately. I’d like to get a show that include a performance of Of The Earth. Any recommendations of a particularly good version of it… or a really great boot that includes it?

Try dublin 2010, since that was the first performance live

I've seen quite a few Pearl Jam shows.

This is the best performance of the song that I've heard!  Mike really nails his solo here!  The other times it's been played mike seems to change his solo quite a bit!

    Yup. These in order
    1. Live at Third Man Records w/ Jack White
    2. Wrigley 2016
    3. Dublin 2010 or Denver 2014

i love this song and have listened to every version many times.
  • All of the above!

I’m also partial to Jacksonville 2016, mostly because I was in GA. But it’s a good performance and a great show!
  • I’ve always been partial to the Werchter version from 2010.

Third Man is my absolute favourite but not sure how you could access a digital version of it.

Mike nailed a solo? There’s a dude on this board  that thinks Mike is overrated because he’s not mentioned in guitar magazines as much as others. LOL

  • I'm partial to the Denver boot because I was there, but they do mess up coming out of the solo... I think a few guys jump the gun or someone missed it (or both).

The 3rd Man recording is pretty damn good to.

Don't see the appeal of this song. From Dublin forward. That choppy repeating "melody" that lacks "flow", and Eddie screeching like the vocals are too hard to get out with power.

    But I'm basically tonedeaf.

I am absolutely biased towards the version played at Pemberton 16 :)

Deluna Fest in Pensacola 2012, great set for a festival. Toes in the sand right next to the Gulf of Mexico. Oceans opener….As the poster above stated, a little bias here as well.
  • Third Man is good but the outro is too elongated for my liking. Big fan of the Hyde Park version but I think that's just cos it's the version I've listened to the most as I was there.

I second that. Pemberton is an amazing sounding boot, not to mention being there didn’t hurt either ;)
