It not obviously missing from the guitar but I have a feeling it was inside the tremolo bar attachment hole. Does anyone know what this is or how I correctly put it back in?

    Out of the box, the bridge should have had a little round sticker covering the hole where the bar goes. That sticker is to keep the tension spring from falling out. Just drop the spring back in the hole before you put the bar on.
