Eddie Vedder Solo Acoustic Tour - How Cool Would That Be?!

A few days ago I saw Aaron Lewis of Staind in concert. He's been doing a solo acoustic tour this summer. It got me thinking about how cool it would be if Eddie Vedder did the same thing.

Obviously, Eddie would have plenty of Pearl Jam material to play. I am thinking that it might not be too far fetched since Eddie is set to release his first solo CD ("Into The Wild" soundtrack).

What does everyone else think?

    It would be cool, but I feel eddie is intensely loyal. If Mike, Stone, Matt, and Jeff wanted to spend time with their families or record side projects he probably would have no problem with going and not upsetting the group dynamic. Eddie may be content to just do the presets for awhile. Presets will have more material for him to play the next tour :-) I saw him in 2002 at the Wiltern..and it was a night I will never forget. So I would be all for a small club tour by Eddie. Hit the Fonda, Pantages, and Wiltern in Los Angeles. Showbox in Seattle and Catalyst in Santa Cruz...

    these guys have been together soooooo' long it wouldn't work.It would be like wolves hunting if they all don't go on the hunt they don't get the kill !!!!

    I don't necessarily agree. The solo Eddie tour wouldn't be a permanent thing. I mean, all of the guys have side projects. I don't think a solo tour would be any different.
