Report: Head of LIV Golf accused of campaign involving 'wrongful kidnapping and detention' | Golf News and Tour Information | GolfDigest.com
All the money in the world won't change who your boss is and where the money comes from. There is comfort I guess in that plenty of companies and governments (USA) take the money too. "Wrongful kidnapping and detention" is probably their version of being nice.0 -
Trying to be a mediocre parent while watching the golf on one screen to see if this Am can pull it off and football on another.
This is pretty cool though.0 -
Kid is unreal0

That was pretty cool. I thought he was done for sure after that shank and double bogey. I wonder if he's going to just turn pro at this point. Pretty sure he'll have all the same exemptions with this win that he had from winning the US Am.0

Planning a trip for September to play out at PGA West. Those last three holes are fun on the stadium course. 18 really does seem similar to 18 at Sawgrass. Both times I bailed out to the right and then have a longer nerve wracking shot to the green with left being dead.Sawgrass rates are out of control. Ridiculous.0

Apparently he was already in Torrey as a sponsors exemption, so not urgent to make a decision but am sure it would be nice to be able to keep the money.Assume he bails on school. I would0 -

Wow, doesn't get any of the prize money. I think he'll be okay though. I just can't get too excited for young golfers as I see them as country club kids with rich parents.0

https://youtu.be/FAlbmd5UdzA?si=4DTVBK0SP-f5-dE0This is incredible. I walked it for the crump cup once. Have been trying to again but it’s been closed to the public since the pandemic and doesn’t sound like the public aspect is coming back.
My main takeaways were the scale, the biggest golf property I’ve ever been on and it’s borderline fucking impossible and wouldn’t be fun for someone like me to play. No business. That par 3th was one of the most intimidating tee shots I’ve ever seen. An incredible place. Seems like we’ll get to see some of it in the coming years0 -
So Wyndham Clark chose his legacy over LIV. That's quite a bet. Good for him I guess. The tour is littered with one or two time major winners that are quickly forgotten. Money isn't everything, but an average tour legacy vs. $$$$.....tough call.
To me:
(1 Major win + $100,000,000) > (3 Major wins + 20,000,000)

Every shot on that course looks terrifying. I'd be lucky to break 125. I think it's hosting the Curtis cup in 10 years or something like that.
Was just down in Florida for a few days playing golf. Did 72 holes in 3 days. Loved every minute of it....but now back to my simulator league and 2-3 more months of indoor golf. Bummer.0 -

Played for the first time in almost three months yesterday. I think this might be the longest layoff I've had since I started playing...and it showed.
I got a lot of work to do before my league starts up in a couple months.www.myspace.com0 -
That was quite a shank by Tiger on 18 yesterday. And like every golfer he already had a built in excuse. It was a back spasm!0

It is still amazing to me that he can go shoot 1 over still on a PGA track with the injuries he has and the lack of preparation.Post edited by bootlegger10 on0
