    Been a Carolina Panthers fan since day 1. Grew up close to Charlotte and was 11 or 12 when the city was awarded the franchise. Am I a fraud for giving up on them even though it feels like David Tepper is killing the franchise? Or do I stay with them even though I think Tepper's long game is to relocate the franchise? I know according to Simmons that with option 2 I get to pick another team unfraudulently, but I don't know if I can let it get that far without jumping out.

    Pick an AFC team to go nuts for but keep rooting for your team.
    I rooted for the Niners when the guy I disliked most in the sports world (Not A Criminal category.....I dislike the criminals more) was named coach in Jim Harbaugh.  It was tough to accept he turned them around but I kept on hating him as the coach but rooting for the team.  :lol:

    I think it’s kind of possible to “have” an NFC and AFC team, just like it’s possible to have an NL and AL team. But if they meet in the SB or WS, you have to have your “main” team.
