Yeah Embiid had a legit bad game last night. And Horford - among many other Celts - just seemed to put everything in the basket from 3.
It seemed like he just handed the ball to Jrue every other time he dribbled.
Essentially swapping out Marcus Smart for Jrue (in 2 separate moves) looks like a massive improvement. Smart was at times tremendous, but also far too often a liability. Seemed like he thought and acted like he was a superstar level player and could never accept being a role player 3rd/4th option.
Holiday looks great so far and doesn't seem to care about "getting his". Perfect complement to the rest of the lineup.

Dang I haven’t checked this thread in a while.

Worth noting that the Celtics have won 22 straight against opponents on the second night of a back-to-back, and the Pacers are the fastest team in the NBA. Embiid looked severely gassed at the end of that game and then had to play again the next night. I’m not reading too far into it.

I’ve been to 5 games already this year. Tickets have been bonkers cheap. Got to see Maxey’s 50 piece for like $58 after fees for two row 6 dead center uppers for a Sunday early game. I highly recommend just getting in the car and refreshing Ticketmaster on the way there until something good pops up.

    Oh wow, good to know.

Also, we shouldn't trade for Lavine right? I really think we need to stay in the one step back-two steps forward approach here, and just wait till the offseason.

Thoroughly enjoying this season thus far. I saw Oubre was at practice today. Looks like he will be back soon. I'm assuming you guys saw the bullshit rumors about him on twitter last week?

So let me get this straight....instead of playing the likes of the Pacers, Bucks or Celts in this tournament next week, the Sixers will instead have five days of rest before playing the Wizards and then the Hawks a couple days later?

Lol...how is it better to advance in this thing again? Give me more rest and inferior opponents this time of year please.

This December schedule is cake outside of 3 or 4 games. Really need to take advantage.

Your boys (and all the other teams that didn't advance) are going to get 2 games added to their schedule while the quarterfinals and semifinals are going on.

I guess those games against WAS and ATL are the 2 added games for Philly.

Yeah....two easier games as opposed to two, possibly three more difficult games. I'll miss the playoffs for this dumb thing any day of the week.

So are they gonna go to the winning city's central area and drop $100 bills into the crowd like the Joker in the best Batman movie? "You people WILL CARE about this!!!"
