I was in GA in 2018 and they chased us into the stands..I got poured on for quite some time before I snuck under a covered area by stairs going up into the 200s..no way I was going down into that concourse..my friend left me to go down in there and find someone and I thought I'd never see her again that night.0

Likewise...I was about 5 rows in front of Mike. After the delay, about 20 rows back from Stone. When we got let out of the "sardine can", I was like "How the F*** did the pit fill up so quickly?!!" Then, a few days after, I saw this video of the cattle stampede.JojoRice said:I had GA. Before the rain I was about 5 rows in front of Ed. After the delay, I was at the back of GA. But, I had to keep reminding myself that I had a better seat than 90% of the ball park. Like you said though, awesome show!

That stampede was insane..never ran so fast. My spot was maybe 8 or so rows on Stone's side..I was lined up with Ed before the storm but probably no closerflanosmasseur said:

People who were further back after the delay...you don't even want to know how many people in front of you didn't have wristbands.
Presidential Advice from President-Elect Mike McCready: "Are you getting something out of this all encompassing trip?"0 -
Thanks for posting the video. What a bizarro sequence of events. My buddy and I waited in queue all day for the rail. Prior to the delay we were second row in front of Mike. During the storm we retreated to seats and sat under ponchos getting soaked while the awesome couple in front of us passed/shared shots of peach schapps....peach schnapps in the rain never tasted so good, haha. As soon as they began allowing folks back onto the field I catapulted over the wall b/t third base and LF, landed on the rolled-up rain tarp and b-lined it for the rail. I wound up on the rail in front of Mike. My buddy wasn't so lucky nor were the new friends we'd met who had/earned the same spot earlier in the day. My buddy wound up about twenty people behind us but obstinate fans wouldn't allow him thru. I had to do a quick mental wrestling match: Fall back w/ my buddy or enjoy the rail at Wrigley. I stuck on the rail, carrying friends in spirit, and have lifetime memories (and a handful of Mike picks;) for having done so.deb1211 said:

What a night that was. Learned from past experiences and found a spot in the concourse that was against an entrance gate so there was a breeze and not so crowded. And I knew where to head when they were about to let us back on and my buddy got us maybe 3-5 rows in front of Ed. Hated the delay but it worked perfectly for us getting a better spot.... great times.0

Good times 8-20-18
Given to Fly in the rain was one of the most exhilarating things ever

We actually ended up in our exact same spot after the delay... on the rail that enclosed the ADA area... bizarre that happened.tylermoore said:What a night that was. Before the rain there was about 500 people in the pit. After the rain there was probably 1000.JojoRice said:I had GA. Before the rain I was about 5 rows in front of Ed. After the delay, I was at the back of GA. Was still a great show!
People were hopping the fence right in front of the staff/security, and they didn't even care at that point.0 -
Makes sense. I was in GA for both shows and Night 2 definitely seemed more tight/crowded in the pit.mace1229 said:

Tried to give everyone a heads up. Hopefully you booked hotel rooms because the rates will go up tomorrow.0

Hold up, is this official because the news team that reported this is just quoting the message board, not actually Pearl Jam. JoeSunday

Actually that's pearljamonline reporting on Channel 5's reporting of Wrigley dates and sourcing his reporting of the reporting to this forum.Foriginal Sin said:Hold up, is this official because the news team that reported this is just quoting the message board, not actually Pearl Jam. JoeSunday
Although we suspect Channel 5's source is a clickbait site who lifted info from the rumor thread.0 -
So if channel 5 announces Pearl Jam is breaking up because of my post right here and Pearljamonline reposts it, does that mean it’s true, cause right now that’s what’s happening here.L. O.
