Help an old guy out?

Hi everyone...sort of an off-topic question.

I want to purchase the StP and Chicago shows I was at...and I use Spotify almost exclusively.

Is there a way to download from Nugs and then upload to Spotify so I can relive my shows?

I asked my kids in college to help and they, um, aren't great at talking to their Dad like I'm a 5 year old.

Anyone explain it to me like I am a newbie?

    I tried this but it didn’t work for me. I didn’t even know this was possible. Not sure what I’m doing wrong.

    This old guy can't even get the songs to download all together.  
    So, I get to play each song individually.  Yeah!  FML

    The concept of adding a complete show to my amazon music seems like some 
    sort of magic at this point.

    bummer! I downloaded them individually, but they went right to Apple Music as an album.

    What you have to do is this:

     

    1. Open Spotify

    2. click on Spotify in your computer's menu bar

    3. choose Preferences

    4. Click "Add source" under "Local files"

    5. Select the map you have your songs stored in

     

    Your songs should now be under "Local Files" in the sidebar.

     

    Now here's how to sync them to another device (Assuming you've made a playlist and added your local songs to it):

     

    1. Make sure you're connected to the same Wi-Fi on both devices.

    2. Open the app on your phone

    3. Go to the playlist you created for your local files

    4. They will be grey in the playlist, click "download" on your phone (the desktop app must be open too)

    5. It will download, you're good to go (make sure not to lock your phone during the process)

    That is what I had to do for Apple Music. Download on the Mac and then sync to phone from Apple Music. Not sure if Spotify is similar, but fingers crossed for you.

    I don’t even won a computer anymore. No real need for me. I use my phone 90% of the time and the other 10% my iPad.

    I did buy the CD but I have no idea when they’re going to get shipped. Plus having the tunes on Spotify is much more convenient.
