Yeah I thought the same. Will be interesting to hear what Andrew Watt does with Pearl Jam!

I like the new album.
Excited for radiofriendly but rockandrolly Pearl jam next spring!"Mostly I think that people react sensitively because they know you’ve got a point"0 -

I can’t believe I’m saying this in 2023 but the new Rolling Stones album is really fucking good. And I’m not even high right now.

Wow! Very impressive album. Sounds like a bit of a blend between Tattoo and Let It Bleed. There are some rockers, there's a honky tonk and even a song with Keith singing, which is always great! I can't believe they did this record now. Gives me hope that PJ will kick out one more Yield.
The last song is called Rolling Stones blues, but it's really just Catfish Blues by Muddy Waters. Still was a cool way to end.
Record itself was good,, especially for being pressed at CZ. That's a crap shoot. It's not super dynamic and needs to be cranked a bit. Definitely digital. But it seemed to be quiet. Only thing I didn't love is that the rockers had a fair bit of reverb in the eq. I like a neutral sound, like a live show.

I wonder how much influence Andrew Watt had on this album? Hoping he can help coax out a good one from PJ as you said.mrussel1 said:Wow! Very impressive album.
