When did Carrottop join GNR?
That had to be fun for Mke to get out there with his friend Duff and the band. Very cool
The love he receives is the love that is saved0 -

I feel mixed on AXL, I've got to one reunion show (Seattle '16), and he sounded alright, but not anywhere near his hey dey. I also thought he sounded better when I saw a few Guns N' Replacements shows about 10 to 15 years ago. It's hard because everyone gets older, but the unique way he sings, it's hard for him to do now. I hate it when people say it but, it's true. The band is amazing and tight, but it's hard to replicate those unique vocals.I thought about going to the show in Vancouver tomorrow, but I seem to be content with having seen 2 replacements shows, and 1 reunion show in my lifetime (also might of been different had it been a weekend).0

Mike was great!I'll ride the wave where it takes me......0 -
They were definitely my Pearl Jam before Pearl Jam, LOL... Loved the Illusion albums. Still listen to them fairly regularly - love me some Breakdown and LocomotiveJimmyV said:Worlds colliding! Probably not alone when I say that GNR was my favorite band when I was a kid.

I enjoyed the show. Couldn't help but compare to a PJ show. GnR has a nonstop video show going in the background. They played a long setlist--some songs I didn't recognize and a few I was reminded of. They played over three hours. The audience was a little passive, but there wasn't much back and forth with the audience. Towards the end, there was more--knocking on heaven's door. I wasn't too surprised to see Mike show up, as we know plays with Duff from time to time. That was a terrific burst of energy at the end. Slash was amazing. It seemed like Axl needed a bit of a rest--there was a tent he went into most times when a long guitar solo/dual was happening. He changed his tshirt five or ten times--maybe they sell them. They struck me as guys (and gal) who love what they do, and were committed to giving a great show, which I thought it was. I'm a little more into this stuff than those who came with me, but they walked away very happy. No doubt highlight for me was Mike at the end joining the band. Us Seattle locals are lucky for some of these guest appearances--I've seen Ed at a couple shows. We're also just lucky to have these guys supporting the community, truly.0

Sweet review.
I often think that easy street may have died without pj's support. Not sure what I know. Def seems to be a symbiotic culture making things better. Helping homeless and whatever else.
Good times all around. Great to see people celebrating the music. Nice to see musicians that lived through it all.
Keep on rocking
