    As bad as Wathan was last night, I couldn't help think that if those two were flip flopped in the order, they would've scored easily. No way he would've held up a speedster like Trae there...

    • Miami's pitcher looked good for a while - then that lineup wears him out by the 3rd inning.
    • Orion looked sick.
    • Jazz Chisolm is one of the coolest names in baseball history.
    • Really not fair for the Braves to win the most games and then have to play the higher Wild Card seed in the Division Series
    • Oh yeah I'm rooting for the Diamondbacks, Twins & Astros - the teams with less wins (or losing tiebreaker) than the Phillies.

    They should re rack and see top seed getting DBacks, lowest seed left.

    I think both WC teams have strong chances but if I was a fan of the Braves, I'd want to take Philly in a 7 game series.

    For Philly?  This is a better scenario.   Go 5 in a brawl against the best team.   Win again.

    Yeah Ravech and those guys are just brutal to listen to. No chemistry what so ever. They all sound like they're having a horrible time together.

    MdDonough did a great job in 1993. I don't get it either.

    Joe Davis is pretty decent. Smoltz is awful.

    They have that box there on the tv screen. Nola throws one right on the corner but Realmuto had to reach across "well it's in the strike zone but missed location - you don't get those calls." Then one 2" out of the box, umpire rings up the Marlin "I'd be pretty upset about that too - totally changes the game - we gotta get a challenge system going" - droning on still the next inning. Like, we don't have 150 year history of pitchers gradually expanding the strike zone and working umpires - that will never change until the robots take over. Get over it.
