Yeah I saw them last night .......looked like they were coming out of a time warp from 1975 .......kind of reminds me of Wolfmother with the retro feel to their music. Have you seen them before?

Saw them in Bristol last night, truly excellent band. Unusual to hear a sound like that recreated in a live setting, just superb I thought. Totally trippy at times.

I had also read the stuff on them in RS, but being a longtime subscriber and having been burned by their rave reviews several times before I was hesitant to take their word. But I actually picked the up the album yesterday before setting out on workrelated road trip and I love it. The trippy stuff usually isn't my bag but they pull it off well in my opinion. The 17-minute one, Bright Lights, is awesome.

So, I got in from my trip around 11:30 central time last night and flipped over to watch conan, saw they were on and stayed up to watch. They do look like they just stepped out of a time machine...the chick is a chunkier version of Grace Slick!

Anyway, its good stuff I say, so check 'em out

yuck they closed the show i saw with bright lights and it was soooooooooooooooooooooo boooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooorrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrriiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiinnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnngggggggggggggg.

other then that i heart this band.

I'm with you, they finished in Bristol with Bright Lights, zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz I swear I nearly fell asleep. Other than that song they were really infectious, such an excellent fuzzy sound they made, the keyboard player was essential to the overall sound, well I suppose they all were. Top band, apart from....that one ;)
Here's a couple of shots of the Bristol gig.

This was a tiny venue and you could hear all these people yelling out for Bright Lights, I was thinking "wtf is wrong with you?" :) It started up and I leaned back on this post, then I thought "better put this beer down before you drop it matey"...I swear I was in a semi-trance kinda sleep by the end of it, still standing, it had been an awfully long day mind :o:)
They're headlining one night of a festival near my home, in August, I'm looking forward to seeing them again.

Pink Mountaintops touring Canada right now. Played in Winnipeg to all of about 15 people. Couldn't believe it.
