I was at the show! My 10th time seeing them. It was pretty great I thought. Much different than the last time I saw them, and the time before that… etc. some slower bits as far as pacing goes, but I don’t really mind at all. I love all the music!0

that being said, I would have been thrilled to be there. Deflated I wasn't.Your boos mean nothing to me, for I have seen what makes you cheer0

I mentioned this in my review, but looking at the set list doesn't do it justice. It was great live, but yes, 7 O'clock did break up the flow. Other than that, not noticeable at all.mcgruff10 said:That s one rough set list. Seems like there was zero flow. Not my cup of tea.7:00 sucks all the energy out of the arena. Let s hope night two is better. It's a hopeless situation...0

One slow song to open, and then get loud. For me at least, 4 songs to start that are slow just kills all of my anticipation and pent up energy. Long Road into Do the Evolution was the start to my first show back in 1998, so maybe that is why I feel this way. 4 minute slow song and then a punch to the gut versus 20minutes of slow songs followed by an 8 minute version of Black before you get to anything heavy or fast.0

Buckle Up in the two slot killed a lot of energy built up from an intense, surprising and awesome opener of Indifference. Almost anything else would’ve blown up the building0

if it's the only spot I can get a mini "unplugged" session, I'll take it. but I largely agree. In 2005 we started with Betterman into Hail Hail/Corduroy/Grievance and it blew the place up.bootlegger10 said:One slow song to open, and then get loud. I really dig the first encore setting for an unplugged session.Your boos mean nothing to me, for I have seen what makes you cheer0

You were probably the one person in the building that did.HughFreakingDillon said:

I'd never experienced an energy-suck like that one ... and hopefully never will againmcgruff10 said:

I'm gonna agree with HFD here I heard on the euro tour and enjoyed it. Granted they were 30 song sets so there was plenty of room for many songs
this song is meant to be called i got shit, itshould be called i got shit tickets-hartford 06 -0

That’s exactly what I thought of when they went into it last night. I really didn’t want to feel that way but I did. Almost any other song would’ve been a better choice there.mcgruff10 said:

One thing I liked about hearing Buckle Up was that now all I need to complete Gigaton is Comes Then Goes (which is unlikely to ever be played anyway), so I am happy if Buckle Up is a one and done for me.Abe Froman said:

After being spoiled with 3+ hour shows, these 24 song setlist seem very different. Every song you're not excited about has a bigger impact. Buckle Up when its 1 out of 33 doesn't seem so bad, but when its 1 out of 24, a little different.0

why is CTG unlikely to ever be played?GlowGirl said:

We're on Year 2 of this and I still can't recalibrate. I have 2 Chicago shows next week and hate the idea that 2:15 of PJ with 24 songs is 'disappointing' but I know I'll feel that way, just like i did last year even though i knew it was coming.mace1229 said:After being spoiled with 3+ hour shows, these 24 song setlist seem very different. It hasn't been played yet. It is a fairly long mellow song, and mostly Ed. Maybe he would play it solo or something. I just don't see it happening if it hasn't happened yet. But I hope I am wrong. Maybe it will be played. I don't know.HughFreakingDillon said:

ah, I've heard others say because of the lyrical content, which confused me, since they've played Missing live. Your explanation sounds more likely.GlowGirl said:
