The show was great! There was alot of energy and a decent number of off the beaten path tracks to keep me happy. The band sounded pretty tight for being the 1st show and all, can't wait to see what is played tomorrow!!

There was no pre set tonight from Ed and he also did not come out to sing with KOL. Hopefully both of thes e things happen tomorrow!!

gotta love the cynicism around here.

anyone who doesn't like a setlist, or has some gripes about a show they've just been to, they need to rethink their fanhood. real fans will enjoy the band playing anything for 2 hours. one of these days there will be no more tours, no more albums, no more posters, no more of the "unruly and frustrating" 10C, no more war.... sorry.

    please, stop complaining.

    The show was awesome :D
I kind of, well almost, cried of happiness during Faithful. haha The whole thing and realization of, "hell! I'm finally here at a Pearl Jam show!!! AND on top of that they're playing freaking FAITHFUL!!!" took over me :D

Just got home....man is it a long drive across the state and around Lake Okeechobee at such a late hour....but at least now I'm 1/2 way to Tampa, where I'll be tomorrow night.

Anyhow, my personal highlight was Lowlight, which isn't played often, and is one of my faves. It's the first time it was played at a show I was at. Right before, Ed asked the crowd if anyone was celebrating a birthday, it sounded as if half the crowd said yes, and Ed replied something like "The number of birthdays seem a bit high, logically thinking" (bad paraphrase at best). Guy sitting next to me said it was Ed's daughter's birthday.

Other gems: Oceans to open....though I was hoping for Release, but still, only the 2nd time I've heard Oceans open. Who You Are, which I believe I haven't heard since 1996 in Fort Lauderdale.

Now if I can just hear Smile tomorrow night in Tampa.

I love to read people's after show reactions, you can just feel the excitement in their words. But It's really getting me even more pumped up for tomorrow night's show, I hope they include some more older tracks in their setlist, like if they played "Present Tense" I know I will completely lose my mind. Overall, I think WPB had a great setlist, a nice balance of songs from all the studio albums (minus Vitalogy unfortunately).
