Face Value Ticket Exchange (F2F)

Right, I think once TM drops the premiums to face value many more will sell. But the seats for F2F premiums that are like $800 for a far corner seat will likely stay empty since those prices can't be lowered.aisleseats said:The price on those 118 and 102 Premiums for MSP have already started to drop.

There's definitely been minimal buzz for this tour."I got memories, I got shit"0

Yeah empty seats are depressing for sure. I think it's the amount of lower bowl seats available that surprises me..so I'm guessing those ppl have upgraded even further or loads are planning on not goingEdved007 said:
I really don't want to see a lot of empty seats at these shows, as I'm sure the band doesn't either. I think it will only be an issue for STP and Chicago as well, but sadly the reality is the way the tickets were handled this time around I think it's going to be a reality. It's a combo of 10C giving out some really bad seats and all of us crazies working diligently to upgrade them along with TM doing their premium/dynamic pricing thing and a lack of tiered pricing. Those tickets were all sold up front, so it's not like anyone lost money (besides the fans sitting on the unsold tickets) but I think between people upgrading and no one wanting to pay the same price for nose bleed uppers and behind the stage as good lowers, there will be considerably more empty seats than we are used to seeing.deb1211 said:0 -

Yeah, I'm surprised there are so many seats available for STP. I mean I'm flying all the way from NC for the shows, so I can't believe there aren't more people FROM the twin cities packing into that place.Appeared to be an animal, yet so polite.0

Exactly. Plus its been almost 10 years since they played there. I'm flying up from Atlanta for both shows.runstaples said:Yeah, I'm surprised there are so many seats available for STP. I think the reasons for tickets available are well documented at this point. That being said I think it is sold enough where it will be hopping.

i agree. The map shows up blue even if there are only 2 empty seats in the section. I think it will look full except for maybe behind the stage and some of the very upper level rows.RatherStarved said:I think the reasons for tickets available are well documented at this point. I was at the Arctic Monkeys last night and the show was “Sold Out” tons of empty seats everywhere at the United Center. Everywhere! Floor was 1/2 full. Which makes me think (They who shall not be named) jack up these tickets and make up on the missing seats or make more on the people who pay more to upgrade the seats so missing seats are not a concern. Either way they are still making the money. The band usually gets paid a flat rate to play anyway so ticket prices to them are irrelevant. I was just shocked how empty it was. We were in the 300 level. Sound was horrible. Bouncing all over the place and delays were tough to follow at times.Post edited by StardogChamp79 onAlpine Valley Music Theatre East Troy, Wisconsin (September 03, 2011); Alpine Valley Music Theatre East Troy, Wisconsin (September 04, 2011); Deluna Fest Pensacola, FL (September 21, 2012); Wrigley Field (July 19, 2013); Milwaukee, WI (October 20, 2014); Wrigley Field I (August 20, 2016); Wrigley Field II (August 22, 2016); Home Shows Seattle Night 1 (August 08, 2018); Home Shows Seattle Night 2 (August 10, 2018); Ohana Festival Dana Point (September 27th - 29th, 2019); Apollo Theater (September 10, 2022); Madison Square Garden (September 11, 2022), Bourbon & Beyond Louisville (September 17th, 2022); Las Vegas (May 16th, 2024); Las Vegas (May 18th, 2024).0

I’ve always said this. UC is huge and PJ won’t sell it out. It might be hard to get a 100 or 200 level ticket. But 300 level and behind the stage will have empty or unsold seats.StardogChamp79 said:I was at the Arctic Monkeys last night and the show was “Sold Out” tons of empty seats everywhere at the United Center. It may look like a lot of empty seats, but for each front of house probably has 400 empty seats. which is 2% - back of stage, another 150 seats.... So entire available 3% or 97% sold-out... thats full., and makes no impact to "vibe"RatherStarved said:I think the reasons for tickets available are well documented at this point. I guess i got used to the Nashville map from last year which said sold out most of the time I guess when i was madly trying to upgrade but ofncourse that was 1 show and we were all starving for live music. A good vibe is all I want for the shows ❤️craigraether said:
