I know, it could be worse.  I could be in Phoenix, right?

Damn that’s a bit much for me! Here in northeast we have the humidity to deal with. Today seems like a perfect day no humidity crystal clear sky and a pleasant breeze can’t ask for anything more!

Yikes! Georgia is about 77 right now. Tons of rain last night.

We were out west in June, so we lucked out an missed the massive heat wave coming.

    Stay cool! If you can!

I took a Harley ride yesterday touring around central and south Okanagan. I saw six wildfires. Yet, we've still been fortunate to have fantastic air quality this summer. Saldly, we have lost at least three firefighters.

Another one today. Surrounded by beaches, yet I stay in the back yard in the shade with a fan. Old age and all.

Horrible. Broiling hot and stifling/muggy. The worst. I am deep into summer seasonal affective disorder right now.

    ^ looks beautiful Z

I'm going to bed with the sore throat because I spent too much time outside today breathing as the smoke finally hit my small town. I can't believe it didn't come till mid august! That's so awesome, especially considering this:

West Palm Beach FL it's around 88 degrees, winds about 10 knots and low of 77 over night. Not too bad for mid August even though everyday there's a chance of thunderstorms.

Looking forward to August 26th, that's when S🪐turn will it's closest to earth and can be seen with your eyes. I hope it will be a clear night down by the beach. Which is only 4 miles from my home, there's less lights there far better to see the planet there.

This is where I went when the fires came.

Edit: I went out today when the smoke cleared for a bit. It was nice to smell things again.

i hear ya @PJ_Soul. I usually love summer. but this year, for whatever reason, the humidity is getting to me. Saturday afternoon I felt like I was sitting in a sauna just having lunch. it's not enjoyable. so I've spent most of this long weekend indoors, which is not like me at all.
