Yeah I was commenting last night on his and the band’s energy on stage being way up. A lot of interaction between them during songs and running around on stage. And I was particularly surprised to see how Josh sang Straight Jacket Fitting without a guitar, and walking into the crowd and high-fiving people as he sang.
From the early performances I saw that song SLAYS live. That’s one from the new album I really hope they bring out. Did he have the audience sing to the string part ?

    That’s different!!!
He even fell backwards into the pit and let the people prop him up as he sang a few lines. It was very different and very cool.

I’m a new fan but most of the footage I’ve seen from this tour looks as if Josh is having the time of his life and really savoring every moment. I wonder if that has to do with what he’s went through since the last album.
I think so....I don't remember ever thinking he was too wasted to perform when I've seen them but I guess he had issues.

off the meth. had heart issues(surgery I believe) post divorce..... haven't been out since 18......

Great show last night. These guys are such a tight band. And Josh sounds as good now as he has ever has.

Yeah it was great!. Didn't pick up a poster (although I should have). Also I should get myself a QoTSA shirt since i don't have one. Highlights for me (besides the new songs) were Misfit Love and Better Living Through Chemistry. Also Santa made an appearance
May be an image of 5 people and crowd

May be an image of 3 people
Misfit Love is awesome.  Such a great intro.
    It's a hopeless situation...

For those who have been this week - I have GA. What was the mosh pit situation like. Was it way up front? When I saw them at Boston calling it was more to the middle. I’m just trying to avoid getting caught in a mosh.

didnt really see one in pittsburgh. although one guy passed out part way through. it was noticed and Josh effectively directed help to the area.

I saw more crowd surfing then moshing at the philly show, which was kinda surprising cause the last time i saw them in '17 there was more moshing especially during song for the dead and little sister.

The GA/pit area at the past philly show however is pretty small (smaller than Camden)
