Is VIP parking still worth it? I don’t think I have been to Noblesville since 2010, but the last couple times in that era it was worth it. I drove straight out of the parking lot with no wait. I don’t remember all the commercial stuff across the street before though.0

yes...they might force you to go north though as the Uber pickup is right by the VIP exitRC242143 said:Is VIP parking still worth it? I agree with above comments, don’t choose hotels near I-69 and 86th (Castleton), choose instead options in Fishers. Hyatt Place on Ikea Way in Fishers would be a great option if staying more than one night as there’s several restaurants/bars in walking distance. If looking for something trendy but not all the way downtown Indy, I’d recommend Ironworks Hotel on E 86th St in the Keystone area, a bit further drive though.0

Stay somewhere else in Noblesville (Super 8/Baymont) at your own risk. They aren't known for being the nicest but not dangerous or anything. Otherwise look in Fishers at 116th Street or 96th Street. Carmel and Westfield will also work but you will be a decent distance.

I currently have a room booked at Keystone Crossing which Im okay with being a little further away from the venue. I did see a Comfort Inn though in Fishers right off I-69 for about the same price which seems to be a little closer. Is it worth to switch it over to the Fishers hotel?

I guess it depends on what you're comfortable with and how much time you have. You can kill some time at the Fashion Mall at Keystone, if you want. There are some better restaurant options in that area as well. That Comfort Inn in Fishers is closer, so if you're just looking to get back to your hotel sooner after the concert, that might be your best bet. There are some restaurants within walking distance of that hotel also. That 96th street/69 area can get busy at times but shouldn't be too bad on a Sunday.RSS2193 said:I currently have a room booked at Keystone Crossing which Im okay with being a little further away from the venue. Thanks for the reply! Will be coming into town on Saturday and meeting some friends I have in the area and planning for the Indianapolis Indians game that night. Shouldnt have an issue with a few extra minutes across the weekend but might make that switch to the Fishers hotel since it might mean getting back to the hotel quicker after the show. Either option seems okay though based on your responseincredebell said:

Typically $50 for "Premier Parking". You essentially get your own exit but there's still a lot of cars parked there. The walk to the gate is potentially a little shorter than if you are in the main lots. The VIP parking is for season ticket holders for all intents and purposes.cbay19 said:

I'm a local. Get a rental car. Uber/Taxi will not be viable due to traffic. There won't be any buses or anything either. Traffic will be insanely bad after the show. It's one of the worst venues I have ever been to in terms of traffic. There's an Embassy Suites near there, those are pretty nice. You also have Wyndham and Holiday Inn Express which aren't bad either.Kiwi In Oz said:Coming from NZ & Australia for this show, assuming we get tickets.
Seems like limited hotel options near the venue, any locals able to give some suggestions with regards to public transport, where to stay? TIA
Pack yourself a cooler to leave in the car with some drinks/food if you want to because I usually hangout in the parking lot for a good hour/hour and a half before I attempt to leave. It makes the traffic much easier to deal with if you aren't dehydrated and hungry waiting to get out, lol.Post edited by jubilairesjl onNoblesville 6/22/2003 St. Louis 5/4/2010 East Troy 9/4/2011

I was thinking of parking at Sleepybear Campground. You can pay $25 and walk over. It looks like a fun place to hang and tailgate. I also thought it said it had food trucks.0

Fills up fast (especially if it's nice outside that day)

Any suggestions on good places to stay (don’t need to be super close to the venue) or things to see and do on the off days between Chicago and Indy? Similarly any parts of town that should be avoided? Thanks in advance for any suggestions.0

Local here (born and raised), the good restaurants (livery, vida, milktooth, Bluebeard) are downtownish. Mass ave and fountain square are where the bars are and those are also downtownish. I think the Inferno Room is an incredible bar if you’re into tiki. It’s in fountain square. The suburbs (carmel and fishers especially) are also trying to develop their own “downtown” areas which are surprisingly better than you would think. But the only thing we have that really sets us apart from every other midsized city in America is the motor speedway, it’s the oldest and most famous race track in the world and dates back basically to the invention of the car. It holds 250,000 people. You can’t imagine the size of it until you see it. I would take a tour around that if I had a day in Indy. Otherwise we have some nice museums, but not an amazing cultural scene.ST66483 said:Any suggestions on good places to stay (don’t need to be super close to the venue) or things to see and do on the off days between Chicago and Indy? I should add- st Elmo downtown is our most famous restaurant and the shrimp cocktail is mind blowing (literally). But I would grab a drink or two and shrimp cocktail there and then head out.1996-09.22; 1998-06.14,07.02,07.13,07.14,08.17,08.18; 2000-08.18,08.20,10.11,10.27,10.28; 2003-04.23,04.26,06.18,06.19,06.22; 2004-10.02,10.03,10.05; 2006-05.16,05.17,05.19,05.20,06.23,06.24; 2007-08.05; 2009-08.23,08.24,09.28,10.31; 2010-05.06,05.07; 2011-09.03,09.04; 2013-07.19; 2014-10.01; 2016-04.26,08.20,08.22; 2018-08.18, 08.20; 2022-09.17; 2023-09.05, 09.07; 2024-08.260
