    In all honesty I didn’t know she was gay, but did know she was a big supporter of the community and feminism in general. That said, nothing changes in how I look at her, just to be clear, lol, and thanks for the information (“The more you know” and all that, lol).

    It's funny watching people read a headline, and then react emotionally without having the facts.  I expect that from Cons, but am seeing it here more and more often.
    I am not defending this woman, but that headline is wildly inaccurate.  She did not refuse service to LGBTQ+ customers.  She went out of her way to say she supports LGB people, it is more the T she has a problem with. She also said she has never knowingly turned away a transgender person.  What she said was she would rather not do business with people who do not identify as a man or woman. And she didn't even say you have to identify as the gender you were assigned at birth, just that you identify as male or female. 
    But again, I'm not defending her. I think she should serve people who identify as "they".  And charge them double since she had to provide services to 2 people...
