Very jealous. Hope they play the entire new album! It’s that good.

Trying to ignore setlists since I’ll see him in July and don’t want to spoil it, but a glance at last night’s shows he plays A LOT of the new album, which should be awesome and hopefully will continue

Is there anyone else out there that writes in such a way that could translate so directly to a movie or tv scene. Listening to his albums, especially Weathervanes, I get that same “picture in my head” aspect as when I read a good book.

As a total album, with a little more musical  range, I’m not sure he’s topped this one, even with Southeastern.
I've been telling people he's my favorite American novelist.

That's weird. I got that from the mailing list. Spam filtration?

Missed out on the artist presale. By the time I got out of the queue and could look at tickets it was stripped clean. It doesn't help that the only show that works with my schedule during that time is Saturday 10/21. A Saturday night show in Nashville, no demand for those tickets for sure.

I got tix for 10/12 and 10/13 at the Ryman, pumped. HOWEVER, I was running 2 devices and somehow when I got kicked out once I accidentally bought a pair for 10/19 and 10/20 as well (long story).

So, I have a pair for each night 10/19 and 10/20, pretty nice seats, that I need to get rid of.

The first time I saw either was together at the Double Door. JTE just put out Midnight and JI put out the s/t 400 LP. Fucking killer night. JTE sold me his 2 records personally. I tried to buy them after his set, but he told me no and I should come back after Isbells set. Which was fine because I was next to the stage.

This was a great show!  Showed up early for The Beths and the rail was open and never left.  Was great watching Jason up that close.

We were pretty close starting with War & Treaty (holy shit! what a set!) We got there a bit late because we had to drop off the little one. Such a great vibe and awesome setlist. Also, that was insanely easy to get in/out of the festival.
