Went out to hang with the spring peepers last night. went to a small pond with a red/ green light. They are so loud and amazing to watch. I never take amphibians for granted.

Canada geese coming around to check out our picnic yesterday.
I told this guy, "Sorry bud, I can tell you're used to handouts but for your own good, we don't feed wild life."
(Oh, and by the way, no, this is not our back yard, haha!)

We were on the walking trail today and kept seeing this little things scurry across the path. Without my glasses I thought they were spiders, but then I noticed some were hoping, so I bent down and scooped one up. Turns out they were common Western Toads. Bunches of them!

No photo but mother snapper turtle was laying eggs in our yard. Lucky I was home. When she was done escorted her back to the pond down the busy road as not to get ran over. Watch for wildlife.

Was fishing on the delaware river in Pa. NJ on other side. Found a spot with a pair of eagles and a young one. Today also noticed a large black thing bobbing across the river upsteam about 1/4 mile. Yes it's a bear! Climbs out of the river and starts walking the shoreline my way. Beautiful to watch it strut along...I took a few more casts and made my way out. There was a wall of rocks on one side of me and the river the other. A little too iffy if that bear felt trapped. Super cool to see. Just get outside and prepare to be amazed or eaten.

Momma Groundhog had four babies, and I made them a salad bar so they stay away from the veggie garden.

We see a lot of these guys around in the trees near us, there are millions of them in Australia. They’re definitely wild, but pretty friendly. The colours look amazing when you see a lot of them flying together.

It's mostly entertaining, they eat a lot. I also buried the fence in the ground to keep them out, and planted parsley in flower beds for them. They love carrots, cucumber, melon and clover, of which we have tons on the lawn. I have more video too :D

I live in US and caught a parakeet on a fence when i was a kid. It was flying around with other birds. Kept it. Put a sign out that i caught it. Someone came with a cage to claim it, but it wasn't hers. Must have been lots of pets flying around.  Then i had one escape from me too later :( I kind of wonder if they'd naturally fly south when it got cold? Hmmmm

Some people do keep them as pets, but there are so many of them (I think around 18-19 million or something crazy like that) that you see them everywhere. I love the colours and I always stop to look every time I see them.
