    my mistake. She is, but today it was Judge Jonathan Goodman presiding for his arraignment and initial appearance. 

    i read just a day or two ago that she would "still be involved" but wouldn't be the presiding judge. Wish I had that article still.

    This case is still (for now) Aileen's to meddle in. 

    I suspect that

    1. initially she will not recuse
    2. In the interest of keeping it moving, Jack's peeps will not ask for her to be removed 
    3. Immediately, she will act obviously biased for Trizzy
    4. she will have those actions challenged by the govt. and then she will be rebuked by a panel of her higher ups
    5. the weeks will drag...

    Aileen can feel however she wants, the United States federal court system deals only in presented facts. "They treated me so unfairly" and "the deep state has it in for me" and "it isn't espionage if the President does it" and "I have every right to do whatever I want, the Presidential Records Act says so..."  are misguided opinions that have no basis in reality or LAW. 

    If she was smart, she'd recuse.  Delaying this shitshow is bad for everyone of us.

    So what if Trump actually did get jail time? I know most don't see it ever happening, and I'm included in that because I have no faith in the American judicial system, but what if? If he already had won the presidency, what would that mean? What would it mean if it happened before the election and he's the Republican candidate? Would it effect anything at all in his political standing? I've got the impression that it wouldn't...
