    Yep.  It was telling that despite the accusers' attorney's version of events that were so cut and dried, there were no criminal charges at that point.

    It was still the right thing to cut him loose though.  That's a lot of baggage and distraction for a contender in dealing with a rookie punter.

    How much money should Araiza receive from the accuser, in which he will never receive a dime?

    Guys career probably over, we need to have severe consequences for people who abuse the justice system...Im all for locking up predators, im also all about locking up false accusers, and their lawyers too

    Evidence shows that not only had Araiza left the party long before when she claims to have been assaulted, but witnesses say she was going around asking guys to have sex with her. And after having sex with two guys, she’s seen on video laughing and having a good time, not acting like someone that was supposedly raped for over an hour. Total filthy slut. I hope Araiza sues the hell out of her and keeps doing it until her life is destroyed. False rape accusers are the absolute worst. Hurts the innocent person they’re accusing, and hurts past and future real rape victims.

    Really hope he sues the hell out of her and gets a shot in the league. Shameful that there's historically no consequence for the party making these types of allegations. Everyone immediately takes their side and when it's proven otherwise nothing ever seems to happen.

    Let's not canonize Araiza just yet. He still had sex with a 17 year old in the bushes. 
    Clearly the allegations embellished the story to a high degree and the girl and her layer deserve to face some consequences, but Araiza wasn't just an innocent bystander.

    No one's trying to fucking "canonize" him. But he's totally the victim here. There's the false rape claim of course. But as far as this 17-year-old allegation, the girl told not just him, but several people at the party that she was 18. So as far as he knows, they're two college kids having sex in the bushes. He is an innocent bystander in that regard.

    was goin to this game as a business trip( all expense paid & then some , booze food)

    now I gotta meet people there and not be able to fully partake… schedule gods not so kind to me

    regardless will have great time

    I turned on FOX, expecting saturday baseball….nope, USFL….beautiful day in birmingham….I doubt there’s much else going on….there’s a couple hundred people in attendance. they say there’s an insatiable appetite for football. yeah, people would watch more NFL or college but this and the XFL are destined to fail, IMO.
    If I had known then what I know now...

    the “crowd” for this USFL semifinal is embarrassing but predictable. being played in canton, ohio with two teams from neighboring states. NBC has collingsworth’s kid and the clapper calling the game. IMO, you’re a dope if you invested in this or the XFL.
