    How’s the sound on that album? I remember hearing when it came out that it sounded muddy or something.

    I made the pilgrimage to see Jason at The Ryman last year. Worth every cent and then some. Highly recommend the experience to any Jason Isbell fan.
    Next week I see him 3 nights in a row. Omaha and 2 nights at Red Rocks.

    Omaha show was great. We got blessed with the presence of the amazing Amanda Shires. A warmup for the Red Rocks shows I guess.

    Hoping Amanda will be accompanying Jason at the Fredrick Meijer Garden show. Love that violin. First time I saw Isbell she was there but unfortunately none of the shows since.

    3 nights with differing, but not vastly different,  setlists + Amanda Shires was a great experience. 

    There is definitely a different dynamic when she is there. Not just for Jason but for the whole band.
    But to see the way he looks at her during Vampires and Cover Me Up makes traveling to see them worthwhile.
