I just want someone to explain to me how there are GA tickets for St Paul on ticket broker websites?
    Are you new here?
They are supposed to be non-trans with only 10 club buyers. I understand how they are for Chicago, but don't get STP.
But thanks for your kind, helpful response.....

Most likely speculative selling.  Despite people saying tix are non transferable scalpers always find a way. There are ways around it.

Most shows sell Platinum tickets to non verified fans though, don't they?

Maybe it's me? But how can a "public" sale not be for the whole Public? and just  for the select few?

I think it's been like this for the past few tours now. And many other bands are doing it too. There's no more public sale. Much like the 10C lottery (except you don't have to pay for the opportunity), you just put your name in the giant hat and hope it gets picked. But with TM, you're not even guaranteed a ticket if you do get picked! Still have to be quick on the draw.

I was one of the lucky ones and got a code for Austin 1. I noticed that behind the stage, all the front row tickets are never available. Are these actual seats or being saved for other people? I noticed the same thing for other venues, just curious.
They are usually unavailable.  Go for the 2nd row.  In St. Louis this past tour, I happened to look the night before the show and I got side/back of stage thinking they were 2nd row...to my surprise it ended up being absolutely incredible - no one in the entire row in front of us.  Direct look right above soundboard and where band came out.  Grab them if you ever see them listed.  Incredible view

Yeah, I know, but everyone should get the chance to be quick on the draw , for what TM says is a Public sale.

I was confirmed for Verified Presale and was able to snag one single ticket in Section 5. First row behind GA for Night 1 in Austin (going solo because I'm going to roll it into a work trip). I originally signed up for the lottery, but when I saw everything that was happening, I hadn't gotten selected yet and I turned my card off so it would decline. Sure enough, everyone's seats started getting moved to the 300s and I knew there was no way I was getting GA so when I got the email telling me i had one more chance because of my declined card, I just let it ride and rolled the dice on Verified Fan Presale.
Was that a PJ Premium ticket?

  • So maybe someone can explain it to me since I’m not the brightest person around. Never got a verified code for Austin, just the waitlist. It’s been over 4 hours now since the sale started. Does anyone know if I’m going to get a code eventually? It doesn’t show sold out so doesn’t it stand to reason I should be given access to what’s left at some point? I’m sure there’s not many great seats left but I’m just trying to get into the building.

I was also on the waitlist for Forth Worth  and I just got a code about 15 minutes ago. There are still tickets available but behind the stage. The other remaining seats were Platinums.

Thanks I guess I’ll just keep waiting. Being on the waitlist I already psyched myself to get ready for f2f anyways but it’s hard to be patient!

Has that ever happened before where the seats are never opened up to the general public?

Verified fan IS the general public. The system is designed to make sure you're not a bot. Anyone could have registered. It's also so they can let people in x amount of people at a time so their system doesn't crash. Verified Fan replaced General Public Sale. If it doesn't sell out after X amount of time, I imagine you no longer need a code though.

    Exactly.
Bands have to do their own ticketing systems
