Before the sales started, for all shows, each idividual TM/LN show page said that both sales, VF and Premium, went until some time the day of show.
Are you sure about that? It listed them as presales, and I'm pretty sure it said it ended in 3 days. I may be crazy, but for some reason, that's what I remember seeing.

Also a Sunday night, so many people would only to take one day off. There are all kinds of factors.
Yeah I mean this was a factor. Also, never been to Indy and have been to Austin before. Wanted to see them outside for first time in forever. Many factors, don’t think there’s a right or wrong either way.

In may it would just transition to F2F unless they don't sell out I suppose

It’s interesting you wanted to see them OUTSIDE. Seems like most folks here hate outdoor venues. My last 5 shows have all been outdoors. Looking forward to some good old fashioned arena rock shows.

I know I’m in the minority there, but for whatever reason I feel like the last bunch of shows I’ve gone to have been indoors (not just PJ), and I’m ready for a good ole fashion tailgate and shed show. Maybe it’s because I yearn for the days of “The Experiment” at Great Woods 🤣

St Paul on a Saturday beat Austin on Monday and Tuesday for me. Couldn't make the dates work.
St Paul was the best for me as I only have to take 2 days off from work, and I still have Labor Day to relax after we fly home on Sunday.

I didn't even entertain any other cities on this tour.

That right there is one big reason I'm only going to Indy.
Its also the closest, so that helps. But if it was a Tuesday Wednesday or Thursday, I don't think I'd be going. Not work taking 3 days off of work to see 1 show.

Also helps that I won PIT tix for this one. That is clearly a significant factor.

Right. Obviously it would just mean 3 days in terms of having the page blocked w/o a code. Then, they'll still need a code to buy any vf tix. But others will be able to buy premium and f2f (once they start).

I feel that. Surprised that Friday FTW show wasn’t more sought after because of that reason.
Where do you see it is not selling well?
  • Just out of curiosity - how are people seeing the premium ticket prices? Did you need a VF link to access that sale as well? I went in for a link but am on the waiting list (womp womp).
    Lemme know!

It's been all arenas and ball parks for me since 2008.  I'm hoping they do more sheds next year. Nothing like being on the lawn with 20+ of your friends rocking out.  We used to have like 5-6 car loads going to Greatwoods in 98, 00, and 03.  Miss those days.

Ya - I got 300 level tix for CHI N1 anyway. Mostly curious at this point. I'd registered for VF before the fan club sale happened, so mostly want to look out of morbid curiosity. Also, super curious how much the 300-level seats are going for right now, since it'll make me feel better if others are paying more to be in the rafters.

Kinda almost feels like Mansfield ruined a good thing with the crazy security taking everyone's booze in 2008. That was the end of that tour and PJ really hasn't played too many sheds since.

Sigh. I miss the good ol' days. Merriweather in 2000 was my first ever concert and nothing like the sun setting on a summer night right as your favorite band takes the stage.

Absolutely!! I thought even the band came out and said something to the effect of “Yeah we’re done with this nonsense here.”

There are a lot of 300 level Chicago behind stage tickets left.  I know they’re not great, but I’m sure they’d all be gone if not for verified fan keeping fans out.
How much are the 300 level tickets going for for verified fan?
