I was confirmed for Verified Presale and was able to snag one single ticket in Section 5. First row behind GA for Night 1 in Austin (going solo because I'm going to roll it into a work trip). I originally signed up for the lottery, but when I saw everything that was happening, I hadn't gotten selected yet and I turned my card off so it would decline. Sure enough, everyone's seats started getting moved to the 300s and I knew there was no way I was getting GA so when I got the email telling me i had one more chance because of my declined card, I just let it ride and rolled the dice on Verified Fan Presale.08.26.98 - Cleveland

Capacity is 25,000 so it's not outside of realm of possibility, though surprising.0 -

For example:
Rather than just 100,000 people trying all at once for a few thousand (or less) tickets for Austin 1 there are literally millions of simultaneous attempts coming from bots.
Plus any jacka$$ who wants try and buy a few tickets to sell at a profit.
The math doesn't workout in the long run for the average fan.
Getting tickets through the fanclub LOTTERY is the best avenue to acquire tickets. Not a guarantee but a better option. Even then the math doesn't work well for fans.
Less shows=less tickets= less fans getting to see Pearl Jam.0 -

Never got off "Wait List" for 2 shows. Should I keep "Hanging on Tightly" as TM said I should? hahaha"The heart and mind are the true lens of the camera." - Yusuf Karsh

What's particularly absurd is that you need a "Verified Fan" code for the lovely opportunity to buy these PJ Premium tickets for $900. LOL!0

VF is just TMs way of covering their ass. Its also a sales tactic. We do this to make sure fans get tixs and we have these things in place to prevent bots blah blah blah. Its all smoke and mirrors. They love scalpers and bots getting the tix. Its more revenue for them. There are so few tix available at all its pretty much just selling the idea that you can get tix. They know all along there aren't any. Creating this idea that you got "verified" just pushes people to buy premium.Post edited by Eddieredder on0
