    Motherly tip. If you can't stop bub from crying - make loud noise (loud music is best).

    Seriously! I was told this by a clinic sister and it works! When a baby's crying, people usually do the old "ssshhhhhhh, there there" etc; - the baby can't hear it! You need to make noise that is louder than them. It's amazing - they stop crying instantly to hear what the noise is. Vacuum cleaners are good too.
