Maybe I missed something, but it was understanding that choosing GA / Reserved was giving you the same odds of getting a reserved seat as choosing just "Reserved". That is how I understood the information. I was also concerned that choosing both "GA / Reserved" and "Reserved"  may result in being disqualified etc. As such, my wife, close friend and I all choose "GA /  Reserved" for  St Paul nights 1 and 2. We all go shut out which is very strange as some folks are getting St Paul as their 4th or 5th choice. It appears that choosing both "GA / Reserved" and "Reserved" increased your odds of getting a seat.

Regardless a very disappointing and confusing day

    This has been debunked.

Has anyone actually gotten a rejection message yet? It seems like there are advertised ticket sections that haven't even been awarded yet, AND we still get random Chicago, Minneapolis, and Austin scores from reserved and GA. I wouldn't worry yet.

What site did you use to message and ask them? I can't find where.

Anyone here with Indy being your 1st and 2nd choice and nothing yet?
Indy was my #1 and I got nothing but I got my 3rd and 4th so I’m not bitching about it.

If it worked that way wouldn’t we have seen a lot more random winnings vs. what we saw:  groups of St Paul, then Chicago, No Austin early in the day, no Indy lawn…..you’re saying early lottery winners, none of them picked those cities?
I think they drew lottery winners per city, not by show.
My credit card charges are one minute apart on my Apple Card history, and I received the email confirmations one minute apart right afterward as well.

I have never seen extra pairs being sent out or people that have low priorities winning over others.  You usually win if you pick reserved in a smaller market. Is this GA/Reserved option new? Maybe that had something to do with the unusual results.
Yes, GA+Reserve option is new. It was advertised as making it easier to get into the building since the amount of GA tix per venue is "extremely" limited. I don't really understand the point of the option - what if I only want GA but not seats? Two separate options GA and Reserve is clear.

I don’t have an answer for that hypothetical. We don’t k ow that has happened, if it did, I’d be very curious why. I’m addressing the people who were aggressively and insultingly saying one particular method is “obviously” the only right one, by pointing out that it gives rise to outcomes which a reasonable person could consider quite unfair.

Based on your posts, it seems that you are skeptical of these claims and feel they are hypothetical or that there are other forces at play, but this is exactly what happened to several of us, myself included.  It is not one or two people, in which case I'd raise an eyebrow as well.  The sample size is large enough to know that something went awry.  Nothing was "obvious" about any of this, except the fact that something is amiss.

  • Still waiting for Chicago N2 (GA/Res) as my fist choice and Chicago N1 (GA/Res) as my second choice. Probably out of both at this point, correct? Late to the party, sorry! Good luck to all.

Maybe it changed the way they allocate tickets as they go through the venues? Not sure we will ever know.

I get that, but what is the difference between the Reserved part of GA or Reserved and Reserved Only?

Logically by choosing only GA Or Reserved you’re accepting that you’re ok with either ticket type?

A bit disappointed in the seats, but as others have noted it’s a sign that, as with the 2020* shows, a huge amount of the tickets are going to club members.
    AT least you're in, I'm 309xxx and got Sec 115 night 1 and G/A Pit night 2.
