Jose didn't you guys do this with another "not just any 39 year old" hall of fame QB from Green Bay, like 15 years ago? At least it only cost a 4th round pick then. Fingers crossed it works out better this time!

It’s still worth it Jets need a true leader even if it’s to mentor the young guys we have! And it immediately makes us a division contender you notice how I don’t say conference or superbowl contenders, I’ll take baby steps

What else should we do? We’ve never had a superstar quarterback since Namath and he was the 1st superstar of all quarterback’s! It was an easy choice from what I’ve read from all experts this move makes them legitimately division contenders..

    Favre?

Last I saw of Rodgers he was stinking at the Linc and after he left Jordan Love almost brought the Packers back in the 4th quarter, and he was getting beat by the Lions at home to miss the playoffs. Still, yeah I can see why the Jets would do this.

Yes Favre for one season he did have decent numbers but I’m hoping Rogers can go for more than one full season! Will see

    Rodgers was crap last year.

You have to wonder how invested he will be to put aside all his silliness and be a great teammate for the Jets.  Especially once grenades start coming from that viscous media

Surely he follow follow his predecessor Mr. Favre into the world of political corruption.

I see it as...not what Rodgers will do for the Jets, as more of Jets doing for Rodgers

Has better skilled guys than GB, Garrett Wilson will thrive...better O line( if Healthy)  Breece Hall is a stud

Great D.....Packers have been mailing it in too long, the GM sucks ass

Do they win the SB....Hell No, but a win or 2 in the playoffs possible

Favre came tot he team in August where Rodgers is 5 months ahead of that.

The Jets team will be a destination for people wanting to win now.

Jets have a damn good team.  Don't count them out.

Someone on Reddit posts that Will Levis told family and friends the Panthers are taking him #1.

His odds go from +4000 to +800 in 24 hours.

If so, then the #3 pick Arizona has most likely becomes a lot more in demand with the chance to get Stroud or Young.
