    What has the Doc given you?

    my fever broke a couple of days ago... im in a bit of pain and im sleeping the days away, but i dont need to be in hospital.

    they cant really do anything - im on a course of antibiotics for 10 days, and i've got to have iron injections, but its just to build my immune system up. its one of those things that once you have it, its a rest up and wait it out type thing.
    dr said i could have had it for a while but because i have an underactive thyroid (which has basically the same symptoms) its gone undiagnosed until now.

    i think my boss feels bad now cos he thought i was just taking sickies to spend some time with joel. glad this weekend is a long weekend. the joint pain sucks some serious balls.
    I'd rather be with an animal.

    sure, Jetstar is kindly taking me there!

    actually Eileen, when my Nan was up here last year I had her on the Vodka Lime and soda's!! She's a Champ :D:D she didnt last long on them though, and yes, went back to Port! :p

    Where I live they have had Ross River outbreaks.....
    Ive known ppl where the symptoms have lasted for a yr or more...
    Ive heard the headaches and joint pain is horrible....
    I think once u have had Ross River u cant get it again....

    U know how cold it is here....we still have mozzies buzzing us at night time...

    Get plenty of rest Megan and take care....:)

    I had Ross River a few years back, right at the end of christams holidays, got better in the last week before school. Wasn't happy. Hope you feel better soon Megan.
