How about a Des Moines or Moline show between St Paul and Chicago?
They are doing a night off in 3/4 of the cities that they are doing two shows. Highly unlikely they do a back to back in two different cities but you never know. They did do 3 shows last year in a row but that was different with a festival in the middle.
That said I see no shows added from Aug 31-Sep 19th
Motley crue average age, 64. tours constantly (although they probably shouldnt) lol. PJ? 58.... and we get 1 GOOD tour every what, 3 to 5 years? 2013, 2016, 2022 kinda.
Motley Crue doesn't even play their instruments live on stage anymore lol
Wyndham Noblesville appears to be sold out but Holiday inn still has rooms. Price is going up though.
Anyone ever do the campsite across the street? Seems to be a big thing!
I did in 2010. It's convienient.........that's about it. I used to travel here for concerts all the time and camp and it was fun, I was younger. When I went in 2010 it had changed a lot since the last time I went. The area is developed now, it used to be just cornfields. So.......if you don't mind camping in what I remember as basically someone's front yard, it is good for tailgating, walk to show and walk back after.
The area has exploded even over the last 5 years. The Venue is surrounded by warehouses and shopping centers now. Corn fields to one side maybe. I live in the area and love it but the Indiana “charm” is gone from the area in my opinion.
I live in Indiana, I don't find much charm here.
Haha.......I had two job offers to decide on. One was in northern Indiana, short move from Chicago area, and the other was in Atlanta. I could not find charm in Indiana either. So now I live in a place PJ doesn't play..............hmmm?
I am lost, I'm no guide, but I'm by your side

Bruce only has to get one person to agree to a tour. Himself. Same for Dave Matthews. Their bands are going to follow them wherever they go. Pearl Jam feels more like a democracy and there won’t be a tour unless all 5 members are in agreement.
Lol. Respectfully, you mustn't know these bands or their fanbases very well. It'd be exactly the same as Eddie deciding to go on tour without the rest of PJ. It wouldn't be a PJ show. It'd be an Eddie Vedder show. Same with Dave and Bruce.
I was at a recent Bruce show and counted at least 18 musicians in the production.
Granted, Bruce's band is a bit overloaded with extras. But the core crew, Steve, Patti, Max, Jake, etc. are integral.
The most important member of the E Street Band is Gary Tallent, who has not moved a single inch on stage in 50 years.

While they’re all huge parts of the band, none of them are irreplaceable. None of them are original E Street members. Patti hasn’t been at any shows lately. Max is at least the 3rd guy to sit behind the drums in the band. Steven left the band for most of the 80s and the world didn’t stop spinning. Jake replaced the formerly irreplaceable Clarence Clemons. Bruce himself dropped the entire band in the 90s. I’m not downplaying their importance to Bruce or the fans. They’re a huge part of the success. But… There’s a reason why the band gave him the nickname “The Boss.” Bruce runs the whole show and if he says we’re touring then there is a tour.

I think the Milwaukee crowd is fighting for a show between St. Paul & Chicago as well.
Nobody likes my warped interpretation of the Philly image meaning a show in Milwaukee on the basis that the Phillies are in Milwaukee on that weekend. But I’m standing by it until proven otherwise!

I find it unlikely they’re gonna fire up the Pearl Jam Touring machine for just five cities… I think Vegas and Sacramento after Texas and maybe a few shows before Saint Paul?
Nah, they’re going to wait at least another day for Ohana presales.

I agree with this, even without evidence to the contrary. Just seems kind of out of left field to just do two nights in a few places instead of the traditional arena run of 12-14 shows. Still possible that some of these dates are just holds.
Is 5 cities really "Big Things", still think there's gotta be more going on. Multiple night 2s also seems strange. All very odd, hopefully clear soon.
COuld be special "Set Lists" Like, playing albums from beginning to end..... or "Unplugged"?
Agreed. Maybe there's something to most of the cities having 2 shows but it also being a short tour. Could be that they test out a new concert structure in September.
I get this feeling. A sort of test run. Like they can't do 35 song 3 hour + gigs anymore or don't want to based on what we saw in 2022.
Moving most cities to 2 nights - avoid the repeats in same city and make it into like one show over two days.
Will be interesting to see if they go with the 2 night ticket that seems to be the new thing Metallica did. Essentially, the old gig is now 2 gigs but instead of 3 hours we get 4 hours 20 minutes (see what i did there?) - they make more money we get more songs. A win win.

This is a very good point.

They did so in 2018. 4 cities, if you can call Missoula a city. 7 shows.

But that was spread over a month with each city being billed as its own special occasion. If there is some similar branding coming for this tour it might help to make sense of things.

I don’t know what is so difficult to make sense of. They’re a band that doesn’t love to tour, but they’re putting some shows out there for the fans and obviously to make a few bucks. Spending about 3 weeks in September. It’s exactly what they did last year, with a similar format to 2018. Sounds good to me.

I would say it sold ok... but was also in a glut of California shows including two in Oakland and one in Fresno, it also only had 2 months to sell. If a show were on this leg it would sell much better, Sac shows are in high demand and groups like the Foos and Greta both sold well of not sold out... Sac would be a great stop this time around..
