^The Juggler said:Who are the three Yankees quoted in the paper that talk about how much easier it is to play in Cotton uniforms? George gleefully reads their quotes to Jerry.
Bonus points if you can remember, or at least paraphrase, their quotes.
Anyone know the answers?
Also, I spoke with a woman who was calling about a client of hers with the first name of....SEVEN the other day. Unfortunately she did not know the backstory of the fella's name though.www.myspace.com0 -

Polonia actually had three stint with the Yankees. He was acquired for Rickey Henderson in 1989, came back in 1994 and 1995 before being traded to Atlanta and was acquired for the final months of 2000, the same year they got Jose Canseco. The Juggler said:

I completely forgot about this Yankees question, a really good one. The scene with George reading them out is so ridiculous and hysterical. What is the name of Alton Benes's book?0

That I don't remember but he was played by Lawrence Tierney, who in a span of seven years played the manager of the Angels in the Naked Gun baseball season, Alton Benes and security guard Don Brodka in the Simpsons episode "Marge not be proud".Vitalogensia said:I completely forgot about this Yankees question, a really good one. That's a great Simpsons episode, and the ending with Lee Carvallo's Putting Challenge is hilarious.xavier mcdaniel said:

Perhaps you already know this, but I learned something last night. Before taking the cafe latte into the theater, Kramer has the lid off and puts it back on himself.Later Jackie Chiles asks "Now did you put the top on or did they put the top on for you?"Kramer replies, "No. They put the top on."
Jackie: "And they made the top. You didn't make the top did you?"Later in the episode Kramer tells Elaine that "Jackie says the top was faulty."
So did Kramer lie to Jackie, was he simply mistaken, or was this a continuity error?

my guess is continuity errorYour boos mean nothing to me, for I have seen what makes you cheer0

Not trivia, just a genuine question....why do you think Dewayne sold George ladies glasses in the first place? What was his angle?www.myspace.com0

Interesting. I just took it as an indifferent businessman selling a customer what said customer requested.0

I always thought it was because he was an incompetent eye glasses salesman - that he didn't even realize the difference.

Yeah I don't know. He went out of his way to say it was "an exciting new item" they just got in or something. That seemed to have sold George on it. haha
