Seeing how there is a baseball card thread, I thought I'd start a comic book thread.

Any collectors?

I have the first 20 star wars comics from 1977/1978....I am old enough to have purchased them when they were first released.  Issues 1-6 are graded.

    I read, then keep them after, so I guess I have a collection from about 2000 till now.
    Some favorites are:
    Saga
    Amazing Spider-man
    Star Wars
    Hulk
    Deadpool
    Something is Killing the Children
    Department of Truth
    Wouldn't it be funny if the world ended in 2010, with lots of fire?

    I am going back and collecting older McFarlane Marvel issues.  For recent I have a few but mostly just buy the paperbacks so I can cram a bunch of reading into 1.

    All purchases in the past 6 years or so.

    Don’t collect single issues anymore, but I’ve got about 12 long boxes full. Best stuff is an Uncanny X-men run from about #160 to about #310.

    Still read though and buy collections. The Krakoa Age of X-men is good, also anything by Jonathan Hickman. His Avengers run is killer. Jason Aarons’s Thor run was fantastic too.

    It’s pretty good. Hear that Mike Flanagan is developing a show.

    I have 15 short boxes and one long box full of comics, I don't know what I'm doing.
