He's totally worth seeing, if you have a chance. One of the last truly great blues guitarists and still a master of his craft.GlowGirl said:
I saw that Buddy Guy was coming to Central Park Summerstage. I think that will be close to an impossible ticket with all the people who have memberships to that concert series.dudeman said:Colonel Claypool's FFFB

Good luck! I hope you can get them. I am trying to go to one of the three MSG shows. My friend also signed up for verified fan, and I can't reach her - so maybe she got lucky.JOEJOEJOE said:
same for the wife and I. Hopefully there are still decent seats left for the Hollywood Bowl shows after they sell to all the verified fans.GlowGirl said:Waitlisted for the Cure verified fan sale

My Wife got in for Toronto, and I got waitlisted for Montreal. We ended up getting amazing seats for Toronto, and I just scored half decent lowers for Montreal. A really stressful ticket situation ended with smiles.GlowGirl said:Waitlisted for the Cure verified fan sale

My friend got a code and got us tickets at MSG. We got lower bowl but across the stage in the back of the venue. I know I could have gotten us much better seats. My friend doesn't have the same experience with the TM finessing that you have to do to get good seats. I am sure she just grabbed the first lower bowl that came up without refreshing and doing the whole song and dance that is required these days for good seats. But, I am happy just to have tickets. My upcoming shows:Bono - 4/17, Beacon Theater, NYC
Boston Calling Festival - 5/26-29, BostonThe Cure - 6/21, MSGNoel Gallagher/Garbage - 7/10, Central Park, NYC
Arctic Monkeys - 9/10, Forest Hills Stadium, NYC
Postal Service/Death Cab for Cutie - 9/19, MSG

I got off the waitlist around 11:15 for Mansfield. Just a few scattered singles in back of pavilion plus lawn seats left.
What was the face for the best seats? (I see $90.00 for a single HC companion seat in the second section back so assume there was 1 higher price level)
Have to hope for a release. This weekend we rock Portland0 -
Still waiting to get off the waiting list for the Hollywood Bowl shows0

My ticket for MSG was $137.60 total. So, $90 is probably about right before fees. I heard the the Cure was not doing dynamic pricing or platinum tickets, but I could be wrong about that.Poncier said:I got off the waitlist around 11:15 for Mansfield. Yeah they made a point about no dynamic pricing or Platinum and using fan to fan for resale. Most fan friendly system for a major band recently. Shows other acts (our favorite included) that you don't have to resort to gouging your fans just because Live Nation suggests it. You just have to be willing to make a reasonable amount of money touring rather than an exorbitant amount.GlowGirl said:
