    i really like Interpol

but i'm not going to Munich or Dusseldorf :(

    enjoy all the same
oh scary... 40000 morbidly obese christians wearing fanny packs invading europe is probably the least scariest thing since I watched an edited version of The Care Bears movie in an extremely brightly lit cinema.

Shit, I'm definately not a fan of the band at all :( Ah well, I'm sure some jammers will be pleased with the news. I am hoping for a really cool support band for Wembley, or possibly 'An Evenng With', come on, we all know it's gonna happen :D

I'll go to both shows and I don't know any songs of them even though I'm familiar with the band name.

It's written on a ticket for Wembley show: "Pearl Jam plus special guests", so I doubt it will end with "an evening with" type of concert. But I'm glad because of Interpol in Munich - hopefully they will play a lot numbers from their debut, and some from their new album. Nothing from "Antics", please ;P

Oh right, I haven't got my tickets in hand so I didn't know. Ah well, that means crossing finger for a decent opener.

Thank heavens they're not opening in London!

Interpol are one of the worst and most over-rated bands on the planet right now!

Just one more mediocre part of the whole indie/artsie 'scene' right now. Blegh.

I love one of their songs....what was it called....slow hands. That's it.

Anyway, Interpol don't seem like a band PJ would choose. Hmmm

Interpol is a great band, but totally different from PJ's kind of music

You will like Interpol if you like already Joy Division, Cure, New order, Echo & the Bunnymen, Editors etc (which I like...)

Exactly. I knew one guy on another forum who actually went as far as claiming that Interpol were the most influential band this century! The only reason someone could say this is because the only bands who get any recognition these days are the bands who fit into this mediocre genre........Editors, Arcade Fire, Bloc Party etc, they're all bland pop.

The only band lumped in with that crowd worth anything are We Are Scientists....and they deserve better.

I think Interpol are slightly better than most shite these days... I'm very skeptical of new music! Them and Bloc Party... the rest are all shite!

Thanks lellopj for info! Not so happy about the Futureheads, I was hoping to see Interpol in Munchen.
But then again, I'm going to see PJ, so I got to stop whining about the support band :)
