I was out on Correa when he couldn't stay on the field. He's been healthy the last 2 years but didn't do squat in Minny. Hope it works out for them but I am out on him.0 -

I thought everyone learned about these long contracts w Pujols and Arod? I guess we have short term memory. The whole landscape on deals was to change because of those two but that is over now, lol.
If I was a GM I would not have spent that much on him for reasons stated earlier.0 -
It seems the approach is to have long contracts with lower AAV for luxury tax purposes and that teams have no expectation that they'll be performing at the end of them, whereas with Arod/Pujols, the expectation was that they'll be good.tempo_n_groove said:
